WARNING: THIS VIDEO WILL MAKE YOU HUNGRY.
There's no doubt that FOOD is one of the best parts about traveling the world, and frankly speaking, I've never met a traveler who disagrees.
In today's video, I take you on a journey to 3 countries -- Gabon, Malaysia and Mauritania -- to learn about some of my most exciting food-related experiences!
What is your absolute favorite local meal around the world? If I had to pick, It'd probably be a hot bowl of pho from a street food vendor in Hanoi, Vietnam!

Yes! It’s certainly not completely unknown among foodies and travelers, but Malaysian food rarely gets the appreciation it deserves in discussions of world cuisine. I’ve been all around East and Southeast Asia, and Penang (Malaysia) remains my absolute favorite place to eat. It’s like all the best elements of Indian, Thai, and Chinese cuisines combined brilliantly. (I don’t like durian at all, but I still think anyone who visits the region should try it. The people who do like it tend to love it, so it’s worth finding out where you stand.)

Durian: Evolves over thousands of years to be as unappealing as possible Humans: Yüm
👏👏👏. When I travel, I insist on local dishes, except for durian. My wife loves durian though. My daughter characterizes durian as a medieval weapon, with which you can kill your enemies by bashing, or gasping with its smell or choking with its mushy texture. 😁
Fascinating! I'm a real foodie. Thank you for your work!
Absolutely love your videos Drew!! Love from 🇬🇧
Durian is one of my fav fruits (I lived in Malaysia for 7 years) and yes the smell can get to you but the flavor is soooo good give it a try if you haven’t yet

Arabian tea is sooo good, i once drank it in my Algerian host family in Marseille and it was delicious, i also remembered the taste of their chicken they prepared for my first day there, i absolutely loved everything about it
When corona finishes if you want visit Thessaloniki Greece it is a beautiful city with nice food and hospitable and generous people also there is halkidiki nearby a hiden gem with the most blue flags in Greece!
My stomach is American 😂😂😂 who else laughed this statement
Nice episode! Thanks for uploading everyday still keep up the grind!
I love her energy and attitude😁😁
I know the durian. I have been to malaysia like 10 times already. So i know the food which tastes like heaven smells like hell.
At 9:42 the girl in the background said "ana mustaeda" which means: I'm ready And at 13:08 she said "Shukran hatha wajibi" that means: thank you, that's my job
I'm from Malaysia and proud to say Malaysia is the most diverse country and it known as food heaven .
I don’t know exactly why but watching people eat on the floor with there hands just gives me such a intimate vibe! Takes a eating experience to a totally different level! So beautiful

Yes, food is one of the best things about travelling. During the days before widespread internet and mobile phones I discovered Horchata, Churros & Paella in Spain, Moussaka in Greece, Haggis in Scotland, Camembert from a Frenchman among others.
Man I'm hungry now! Big up for mentioning Anthony Bourdain what a legend RIP
