Smitha, I love your videos. You are an excellent instructor. I'm 59 y/o and re-entering the world of makeup. So many new products and techniques to keep up with. My question is about techniques. I saw this YT video about double line and lipstick application on women of color. Years past, I never put much effort into lip lining, but everyone seems to do it now. I see you do it, usually at the end of the tutorial. I don't know if you have a tutorial on lining and lipstick application. Anyway, can you tell me if what the videographer says is true about double lines? And if so, is this the best and easiest solution? Is it even really a problem? Thanks.

I've always been frightened of trying black eyeshadow (I'm dark-eyed with fair Celtic white skin, so I worry I'll look Goth or Halloween-ish, which I DON'T want!!) You can just adapt the three colours to suit your complexion. Ivory, nude brown and a mid-toned taupe and a brown eyeliner would look wearable on you
