Every once in a while it forgets the IR signal to my amplifier volume. I have to press Menu and Volume Down - for 5-8 seconds and then it works again. (Silver remote)

Thank youu you solve my problem 50/50. The controller wasn’t responding even if i charged, but with the pairing method i manage to see at least it respond to that command. Either way thta didn’tsolve it instead i just restart my apple Tv and then pressed the back button plus Volume + and then it paired and start working.

You need to add a suggestion to unplug the tv for 10 seconds. Once I did that and used your reset suggestions it worked. Thank you!

Apple TV flashing light it is using the black remote not the new silver remote. It was working a little while ago and also recently it just stopped. The batteries have been charged HDMI cables have been changed multiple times different ones that I know work cannot seem to get it to reset screen is black.

How do I fix mine? It won’t stop transmitting! It makes my other remotes stop working. What’s up with it?

What do I do if my new silver remote jumps all over the place? It was working fine for a couple of years now it acts like it's activated and works on its own against me. It goes all over the place bouncing from place to place on the screen as if I pushed the buttons on its own. It works against me. It goes in opposite directions that I push, it fast forwards through shows. I can't watch tv due to its malfunctions. I've unplugged the box reset the cable box and charged to remote . I can't seem to resolve the issue

I have two remotes and for neither are working. Tried everything.

Same issue on both my Apple TVs smh but this video has worked for me.

Repaired my remote several times, it then disconnects, I think these Apple TVs have an issue with range. I am only 8ft from my Apple TV .

And for me… even after factory reset. 2022 remote works with 2017 4K. 2022 Apple TV works with 2017 remote. 2022 remote and 2022 Apple TV box have disconnecting issues . Also tried another 2022 remote. Same issue

You did not mention how to restart your remote to fix issues.
