Here in northeast prawns are very common in the typical stream. You have to have a skill to catch them🤣they are so fast in moving when it feels threatened. You will need both hands to catch it. One from the front(chase it slowly) and one hand from the back. When it moves it will enter in your hand by thinking that it entered the rock crevice and then slowly cover the hand from the front you will be able to catch it. Otherwise it's really tough to catch them. Another method we used here is using a cone shaped made from Bamboo, we put the cone from the back and chased it at the front. That is the easiest way. I have one more option which might be illigal,but I won't share it here, otherwise they will go extinct🤭🤣I have done that experiment once, beleive me, you don't need to catch them, they will come by themselves outside the river and suicide themselves 🤣🤭I stopped using that things when I saw the results, because I don't want them go extinct.🫶🏻💚🌿
