3-Day Trip To Dehradun Under ₹8k | The Solo Female Traveler Ep 6 | Curly Tales
After exploring the chilly hill station of Mussoorie, the adventure capital of India - Rishikesh, our third and final destination in Uttarakhand stands to be its capital: Dehradun. We divided the trip into 2 parts: one exploring the popular destinations and two, living amidst the mountains of Maldevta.
Day 1 includes exploring some popular destinations like Robber’s Cave, Sahastradhara, Forest Research Institute, Jhanda Sahib Gurudwara (where Dehradun gets its name from by the way). And Day 2 includes exploring Maldevta where you can witness living in the mountains and swimming in some of its pristine blue waterfalls.
All of it, of course, under a budget!

I’ve been in Tapovan Rishikesh for 6 months. I have my hotel and taxi booked for an extended trip to Dehradun. The shops and the size of the place are exciting me.

Really love the solo female traveller angle just some feedback/suggestions - your pronunciations of the places are so off at least the spelling shown corresponds like you kept on saying Mal-de-tva when it is Mal-dev-ta in the Day 2 section Shastradhara as well ; given this is clearly a larger production would be nice to research a bit more about the places
Would be thankful if u promote afforestation too mam in ur vlogs. Dehradun suffering from unregulated development deforestation etc.

Two so wrong things 1) Hiring a scooty is the best for commute, not a cab. 2) Dehradun is the safest city I have experienced my lifetime. Even in night time.

The Places mentioned in this video are not famous now. Hardly someone visits them. And staying in Maldevta & exploring Dehradun is not advisible. There are so many great living places than this. As someone travels, Food is also a great part of it. One must try Chetan Poori, Katlambe Chole in the breakfast, Must try place other than this which is Doon’s all time fav is Buffet. Much Much better places are in Doon than what is referred in this video.

Dehradun is too warm..just drive a few kilometres north and reach Mussoorie

Wi-fi at Dehradun is good, however at Maldevta I faced connectivity issues. Try picking stays that offer wifi :) - Neha

Serious problem of wifi connectivity even though I have my wifi here..bruh 😒 😑...I don't know being a capital city of the state still lacking behind at various levels compare to other 2 tier cities of India.
