Excellent video, Dan. I went down to Battle Creek last Wednesday. Hunted until Saturday morning. My buddy hit his 2nd 8 point within a month on Wednesday, with his new F150. We couldn't salvage any meat. He crushed it dead center. Passed on a few nice size does as they had young ones with them. I'll hunt here some, until January 1st. Thanks for taking up along!

As long as it’s visible from both sides I was stopped for a license check last yr and the Dnr officer told me I was ok and in compliance with the rules

We have some good corn fed monsters down this way, i hope you had some better luck for the remainder of the season! It is fishin season now, if we ever get any ice this year!

Yes I hope we get ice. I’ve never iced fished and got invited last yr and couldn’t make it then the ice turned crappie. Hopefully this yr is different but not looking good

330 is a PERFECT time to get out to hunt!!!! (talking about the neighbor guy that was on his prop to hunt, and you commented that he isnt getting out there till 330, dont get dark till 530)

Ya but actually he wasn’t really set up till after 4 messing with his tree stand but he was on property he had permission to hunt so it what it is. So ya your sorta rt

I've been seeing tracks and no deer. Camera pictures are all at night. Still have the same round in my inline. arghh Kicking myself for passing on the small basket 8 I had in front of me. I had a fun relaxing season, nothing better than sitting in the woods especially in the UP!

Its always a good day huntn weither you see anything or not. Enjoyed watchn

Sorry you feel that way. However hunt the land they permission to hunt not facing and hunting land you don’t have permission to hunt. They were caught on the land I was hunting earlier in the season where they didn’t have permission. So i think any hunter would feel the same. You can’t shoot on to other private so why have stand set up on property lines and facing another property?
