First Episode of my 4 week long Italy Trip. Today we start our journey in Bavaria, southern Germany and work our way southwest along the Autobahn network into Austria and then Switzerland. Experience the beauty of the alps on amazing back-roads and mountain passes riding my Africa twin or enjoy awesome drone footage of the city of Luzern.

It was the Africa Twin which brought me to you, you're outgoing personality and superb content on amazing adventures kept me wanting more. You've gained a new subscriber, you deserve so many many more. To be able to enjoy the freedom, the beautiful scenery, the passion to explore is particularly appreciated during these times of enforced home incarceration, is both enthralling and frustrating. Such freedom should be the inherent right of every human soul. Thank you for reminding us all of the joy to be had if only we could break free. Greetings from Bonnie Scotland, where we believe we are born free, yet for now we remain imprisoned. We can blame those who wish to control us, but in reality most were prisoners already, living life through someone else's reality ( reality shows and box sets) whilst not really knowing what REAL life means? I hope you're future freedoms remain unrestricted, to strangle such passion would be too unbearable!!

Thank you so much for your kind words. I really hope all of us will be able to fully enjoy all freedoms again which we are denied right now. More videos will be coming out once I get home from my exteded Christmas/New Year holiday with my family! Cheers!

7:02 If you're talking about Bret Tkacs' video, you need to wedge your knee into the frame, so your weight is more centered when you push up. If you haven't seen it, you really should - it's a cool video about balance exercises. I did that a few times on a Tiger 800, works well, but if your weight is off-center, the bike really wants to tip over. Another thing I did for more stability, since I'm fat, was to put my left knee on the seat as an intermediate step. Then when I felt balanced, I threw my leg over. BTW: I just moved to Germany and I'm dying to get an ADV bike and ride around Europe. Maybe we can go for a cup of coffee or a mug of beer sometime! :D

yeah that is the video I'm referencing :D on the AT wedging your knee into the frame is kinda difficult, but maybe I could lean onto the seat, that might do the trick... beer sounds great ;) you can email me under: global.motorcycle.nomad@gmail.com
