I lost my twin brother in March after his passing I went into solitude and deep depression and PTSD, severe anxiety. My mom and sister and I all moved in together an hour away from where we lived and lived in one house 17 of us. My stress has been overwhelming. I have been working on myself. I felt like it was never going to end that there was no way I could get out of that insanity. But somehow I did. Deep down I didn't entirely gave up, because why would I? If there's something I am is curious. And that didn't die. Why would I not see what I'm capable? Why would I prevent myself from seeing the possibilities and seeing myself becoming whom I've always wanted to be. That helped me work on myself, my shadow, my trauma, my negative beliefs, and my fears. I realized after some time that I never felt like I could be me and that I never felt like I could pursue this passion I've always had since I was a kid. I never allowed myself and so the world turned grim when I forced myself to do be and do what other wanted. Once I realized that that was part of the root, I felt a heavy weight lift. I really worked hard on bettering myself and my mind for some time. And I've said it, there's no way negativity can bring me down anymore, because I've outgrown that. I've lost all meaning of life before, whatever tries to bring me down...well, that's not going to happen. I'm equipped to do better than fret, or panic. I'm becoming somewhat a stoic. Still have a long way to go, but I'm grateful. I can now understand darkness and psychological pain. And I'm starting to write. So I'm hoping to publish this and inspire many people through my stories. Thank you for the reading!

@@baileysummere.8017 5 years is awful. I'm so sorry. I'm a long way off recovered but slowly getting there. I'm not sure I can put it down to any one thing. But I did do EMDR therapy via Zoom for 6 months prior to the significant shift. I started magnesium malate about 6 months before it too. I also listened to The Way Out by Alan Gordon & started a Somatic Tracking Meditation here on KZread (by Body & Mind LifeCoach). LDN provided some improvement earlier on with brain fog & mental stamina. And I did a lot of shadow work & soul searching too. Had to recognize & break many unhelpful patterns. For me, it's been quite the spiritual journey. I truly wish you all the very best. Sending lots of hope, strength & healing your way. Hang in there. 💛
