Love that Barton frame

The firm I used to work for had an older pair of wayfarers from the 90s lying there in their inventory. When I was working there in 2008 I saw it, politely asked my boss I'd like to buy it if you give me a discount. He appreciated my gesture and since wayfarer was just coming back in fashion, aviators was still fan favourite in India then, he gave that as a gift for me. The left hinge rivets is a tad loose due to staying in one place without motion, other than that it's just fine, not even a little bit of corrosion.

I love my Wayfarer's... Enough said!

Wish the 007 branding was on the inside than the outside.

I’m Celine B. (Jason’s mother). I was wondering if Thunderball specs are prescription friendly. Also, are the Drive Safe specs an alternative to add a high prescription -14. Just searching for a not too expensive glare pair of specs to fit my face. Thank you 🙏🏼

Definitely. Being a somewhat thick acetate, they are excellent for a high prescription If you're going not-too expensive, I would recommend Gast though - they are 1/3rd the price. Email us (hello@thespectaclefactory.com) and we can make them for you with DriveSafe lenses.

Seriously, I didn’t realize the Cartier glasses were so expensive lol I would think no more than $500-$700, but they charge thousands of dollars for glasses. Crazy!

My as* not the same quality i have been using RB 2140 for 10years now and also have new lot RB 2140 in Light tortoise/havana bought just 3months ago and they both are exactly the same in quality.

But that isn't true. Ray Ban are one of the worst brands you can buy nowadays.

Celebrities are typically ambassadors and endorsed by the brands they wear. They’re paid big money to wear certain brands so folks will go out and buy them. I also think it’s incredibly cheesy to use a fictional movie/character to try and sell your product. It seems desperate. “James Bond wears these”. Lmao. James Bond is a fake character and he wears whatever brand pays the highest. It’s how movie budgets are hedged.

Actually, BP don't pay anyone to wear their product, or even give celebrities a free pair. Every frame you see someone wearing is because of their own choice. The James Bond studio were the ones who approached BP to ask them to use their sunglasses in the movie, because they fit the required aesthetic. I'm very sorry I lost credibility in your eyes.

Thunderball eyeglasses you showed in this video are twice as expensive as Ray-Bans. You’re comparing apples to oranges. 🍎🍊

Well... I did explain that BP are luxury, and that the Gast was the same price. Not everybody who buys Ray Ban can't afford better - most just don't know there is better!

I strongly dislike Luxottica.

There is a difference between USA made Ray Ban and the Italian made which these lasts are way more expensive than the American. The only good quality American made are the ones that are made directly for the military since the retailers ones are for all-public accessibility which are mostly made in China. If it doesn't say Luxottica in the manual it's not the greatest quality, Luxottica is the company that represents Ray Ban in Italia. Know the differences, freaking Brit or whatever you are.

It's obscene that anyone would pay so much money for eyeglasses frames, and it's indefensible of you to promote them. You should be ashamed.
