EDIT: Aternos does allow you to upload custom maps, just no plugins/mods. Magamanode might turn off your server after having no players online for a while. Though this is not stated on their website and I can not find a timeframe anywhere.

I recomend u another hosting called endelon hosting It has full file access It Has 4 GB ram and powerful cpu semi 24/7 meaning server gets on sleep when no one online But as some one joins It starts server within 15 seconds U dont have to visit their website

Kasai that is not true in aternos server we can upload custom minecraft world that you guys own but there are limits to these to we cant upload files more than 1 gb or something but we can bypass it :)

uploading maps is actually possible on aternos, just go to the left section,worlds and select the orange button "upload" Uploading custom plugins is also possible (i think) but it takes some more time

Magmanode turns off after no players are on but the time limit varies. Also don’t try to keep a player online all the time because magmanode will disable your server

Well bots are against aternos rules so it was expected

You can upload custom Maps to Aternos!, No plugins and mods, but Datapacks and Worlds can be uploaded to Aternos!

I think your home network/router have a adblocker DNS server that's why aternos showing that screen.

Great vid as always kasai. Note: Magmanode doesnt offer 24/7 server i think. It turns off after a while if no players are online❤

Great info! I didn't see any sign of this though. No timer or renew system. Also my server stayed online for over 1 hour without issue. But it might turn off after a longer time. Maybe someone reading this can shed some light

Aternos doesnt have struggle with the adblocker pop up screen, its not glitched or anything. Your browser probably has an ad blocker pre-installed like opera gx I think.

the lowest option on alien is similar in price to realms and i dont need to have my friends change dns settings to join with realms

You can run geyser without an extra port. just set clone-remote-port to true in geyser config.

Aternos is fine, but can get insanely laggy quick. I’ve had a server with a friend for half a year now and it’s just meh. I guess it’s good for a free one tho

u can add mods in aternos just change the vanilla to forge and u are gona see the mods pop up

I think that feather client is the best for servers, since it runs on what your computer has. But it will be bad if you have a bad pc or bad upload speed.

Just to let you know, I was using an adblocker on aternos and it said I was using an adblocker. When I went to Microsoft edge, aternos kept showing me ads and it made the website very slow. So is that a problem for your computer or is it a change that aternos made?

Use brave browser to run aternos.

aternos isn't best hostnig, so I prefer Magmanode or OracleCloud with is best.

You "forgot" the best choice. 24GB Ram /200GB HDD / MySQL / FTP all for free. Oracle VPS (Yes, the downside is you have to know what your doing)

You can't. Hypixel has many servers linked together with hundred of people on each. A free host would never be able to handle all that

Aternos is HORRIBLE makes you watch ads to start your server and if no one is on the server they shut it down
