It’s actually called a cloak room , just toilet and wash hand basin. Almost all new builds have this on ground floor nowadays which is handy. If you are going to correct someone , at least get it right. The lady is just speaking in simple terms for her viewers.

council hosing for most needy people like single parents, people with health issues or homeless so if you are working full time and earning national pay rate then you are not even illegible to apply , council will tell you to go to private housing through letting agents or private landlords , council will calculate your income and your expenses then you will be illegible to get some universal credit to pay your rent , its all depend on how much you earn . you will get more if you have children ,hope you understand all

You need to be eligible to get council house. No one gets it right away, those who get it often are send to far off places.

May I ask what will be the rental income for this house. I live in Melbourne , 13 kms away from cbd and here 2 bedroom townhouse , land size 150 sqm back unit , cover area of house might be 12 squares was sold for 550k. Rent will be 225 pounds a week if u convert aud to uk pounds. I like to invest just want to know what's the difference in rent.
