Beginner here, I have a stupid question if I may. doesn't adding a zipper this way leave a small hole in the ends of the zipper/pouch? Or we don't worry about that.

It kind of does but not big enough for anything to fall out ☺️. And doing it this way makes it smoother on the ends and polished looking IMO.
