Great question! In LA, there has to be exit routes from any bedroom basement. So they create a ladder escape out on the sides of them as seen on this property! It also makes it feel less claustrophobic which is a major plus!
I've seen worse. Try touring 25354 prado de la felicidad. You'll note the color items.

@@LOHATEVEE An exterior door in a bathroom usually means pool access - maybe I didn't explain that properly in the video! And yes, I did know some lights were automatic. Thank you for the feedback!
