3.5 Net rusher Ray vs 3.5 All rounder Joshen (Full session) - Session 5

Спорт

The last time I played Joshen was about 5 months ago. I was tuning my approach to ground strokes, and his serve was on fire.
Today we’re back to somewhat evenly matched. I was serving well and had added a forehand slice to my repertoire since then. Joshen as usual was speedy gonzalezing all over the court and hitting solid ground strokes, dictating the points once he got them sufficiently deep.
I played with more variety, hitting close to 30% serves to each of the spots (out wide, body and T), and throwing in lots of forehand slices when I saw them working.
Hi! I’m Ray and I play NTRP 3.5-4.0-ish level tennis in Singapore. Many players are self-rated on an app called Reclub, where we find hitting partners.
I (white shirt) serve and volley and rush the net whenever the opportunity arises.
Joshen (black shirt) uses his fast feet and fast reflexes to play an all round game.
We play an 8-game pro set which Joshen wins 8-6.
