This is a cool little Steam Tractor that has the power.

Small, but strong. "Small is Powerful! Believe it!" I need to find the price for that engine (my mum fantasizes of driving a traction engine and this would be the closest she could get to a full sized one).

Wow when i see engines that small that can pull a person, it makes me want one alot!!

Lovely model, but that constant whistling noise would drive me crazy.

I wouldn't think engines this small could pull a person, but I guess this proves me wrong. So if I went out and got a little 3/4 inch steam tractor and had a little cart like this one, I could ride it out in a parking lot or something like that? That'd be neat.

yup it pulls a person alright, it is a surprisingly powerful what you have to remember is it needs to be on solid flat ground, and we rode behind it but my old man is only 11 stone so he is not the largest guy in the world! if you make a scale wagon or trailer it would pull that all day long!

Yes, they *can* pull up to 12 stone/170 Lbs/76 Kilos, but _should_ they? The wear and tear at the limit would lead to a greatly reduced lifespan. Either way; I would recommend slightly larger *pneumatic* tyres over solids to reduce rolling resistance. www.maxitrak.com/locomotive-item/34-inch-scale-allchin

+james spencer we sell the trailer you see on the clips, it is for our 1" Models but it is still usable enough! maxitrak.com/trackaccess_item.php?id=40

are you sure its ok to run the engine like it wont brake a valve

james spencer yer it will be fine! it's quite small so your just stall it if you put to much weight on it! make sure your not going down hill as your push it along!
