Great video thanks. I played this last league and will do again this. I respecc'd into ES and did some deep delving, wave 30 SImulacrums and super juiced maps. I even switched in MF gear with little drop off in tankyness - my first lvl 100, I enjoyed it that much. Good for most everything except Legion.

I'd say Necro Chain DD is way better suited and can do T17s with less investment than Ele DD.

Desecrate is on the second bar accessible by holding CTRL.

Do you have a newbie guide on rotations, etc with this build?

You press Desecrate once, then you press Detonate Dead once and everything dies. On bosses you press Desecrate once and Detonate Dead until you have hit the Kitava‘s Herald corpse (or other big HP corpses) and gotten a big ignite and then you run around the boss laughing at it while your Arcanist Brand setup keeps up the big ignite with Defiled Forces.

It is explained in the video. You use them cause they have the highest mob HP in the game outside of T17 maps.

Chain DD is a completely different build since its hit-based and not ignite based.

​@@Chronikz I did go with this build as a new player I find it a little bit confusing, had to check so many things, still struggling to get more energy shield in order to cast things since I can't cast haste and I can't even find that molten shil actually works. Still trying to get things together. Thx for the vie really helped with some things.

@@chrisjo7318 Yeah 745 armor is not good. The early-game gear is in the PoB, you should compare your gear with what I put into the early game gear section and try to go for similar stuff while reaching Res and Spell Suppression cap.

My filter sounds made it blush. Nah I‘m joking. There is a setting in the menu. I‘m not at the PC right now so I don‘t know for sure, should be in the UI part of the settings.

Disclaimer: I play DD on league start every league. If people want to try DD for the first time, play ignite. Unfortunately it is 2 buttons even if you use defiled forces. The 1 button playstyle comment is kinda cope because your ignite will fall off and you will have to recast. You will be pressing desecrate and detonate dead a lot. Its 2 buttons. If you're somewhat familiar with DD and want to try something different, play Necro DD. Its hit based so if you hate pressing buttons do not play Necro DD. If you are pretty familiar with DD and want to try something more interesting and slightly more difficult to get fully online due to it being crit based AND you really want to play a true 1 button DD build, play Inquis CoC DD.

@@Chronikz All good, tbh I think what you said was fair enough and in certain situations it is 1 button and it feels fuckin amazing to reset a good ignite over and over and watch a bosses health evaporate. But thats an ideal situation. Overall the video was very well put together and provided good info needed to play ignite DD.

Thanks for the comment. I planned going DD for the first time this league, so what you saying is I should go DD elementalist? Is the gearing as easy as compared to Necro? I heard necro gearing is super easy since you can basically focus completely on defenses gearwise (and mostly treewise aswell).

@@OfficialPepe I'd say gearing is pretty easy on both but slightly easier on necro. Here is what matters: are you in trade and are you playing hc? If you are ssf, ignite will be way less painful since you wont have to farm merc lab for DD of chain reaction which could be hours if you are unlucky. Its not a huge downside but some people hate lab enough that its a dealbreaker for ssf. The reason I suggested ignite for someone who hasnt played DD before is because of the playstyle difference mainly. Necro DD is button heavy and that cannot be understated. Even though ignite is still 2 button its not nearly as bad as Necro DD. Bossing on Necro DD is not for everyone. SC vs HC is the next consideration. In HC I would recommend Necro DD due to it getting more damage and more defense. Overall personally Necro DD is the better build with the far worse playstyle. If you can get over that significant downside then Necro DD is probably good for you. I'll be playing Necro DD since I dont really care about pressing a lot of buttons. But like I said, it is not for everyone.

Just a warning : This build is not good for T17, if you want to farm t17 maps just go CoC inq or necro DD.
