I would love for them to keep Mendy honestly. If Alphonso Davies is going to join then it won't be a big matter to have them both rotate according to the needs of each individual game plan. I believe this idea would make our defence lineup more versatile and even harder to predict.

Davies is a great full back. He can provide a lot going forward. But, I trust Mendy defensively more…he would still be my first choice in big games.

I noticed he takes less unnecessary touches in the attacking 3rd against top opposition. But that wasn’t the case yesterday.

I dont think it's a matter of doing too much, the matter is he is all emotions and that is driving the too much and extra unnecessary activities. He needs to balance his mental state. He gets all worked up and irate and alot of it, is that he is immature and almost like a joke-ster or class clown. He is not concentrating and staying focus as if he has Attention Deficit Disorder. He operates like a run away wild horse sometimes and when Benzima was there, he tamed him but he doesn't have that big brother figure on the pitch to help regulate his uncontrolled behaviour

For sure, he needs to clean up the mistakes.

What a match 3-2 with Jude with the game winning goal and what match for Lucas.The only concern I have for the Bayern match is set pieces, as we struggled a lot with corners against Barca. Kroos should have jumped and been more cautious about the surrounding players and the ball. I hope Mendy is well-rested for the Bayern match because Camavinga looked shaky. However, I'm very confident in the squad. One thing I didn't like yesterday is that Ancelotti subbed Militao in at the 74th minute, which is not a lot of playing time considering how much he needs. It felt like Ancelotti replaced Militao at center-back with Tchouameni, but since it was El Clásico, I can understand why he didn't take the chance of replacing him in a crucial match for the La Liga title. We are now in a great position to rotate our players, so if Militao doesn't start against Real Sociedad, I'm wondering what's going on.

We beat them even with a makeshift back line, an exhausted midfield and attack 💀
