I have that same light holster, and it fits my streamlight hlx very secure. Easy to access and take on and off. I use it everyday for work and hasn't failed through an entire year of abuse.

More lumens equals less run time. That's why surefire pretty much limits most of it's top selling flashlights to 800ish. The key is beam pattern a tight beam for night can provide details. A very bright wide pattern lights everything up but with less detail.

Different applications, different requirements and preferences, in my job a light with a high output first is a necessity for defense and control, I also prefer a light with a instant strobe. My duty lights consists of a Fenix tk20r, and a streammlight protac HL5-X

The holster for a duty belt is good, just have to be careful of the spring release clip on the bottom, had it come undone one time, I switched to the nh25 holster from nitecore. If they combined the two holsters it would be perfect.

I wish light manufacturers would include a lux and candela rating, especially with LEDs. Lumens can be false advertising in certain situations and has totally led to Amazon running rife with knockoffs advertising absurd luminosity figures, some into the tens of thousands.

I had a spotlight claiming to be waterproof and it started letting water in at only 6” deep of water!

🟦.... I detest having to click my way through ALL of the lights 'Modes' before reaching 'Off-State', so I appreciate not being forced to activate strobe-function just in order to turn it off, so I particularly like the "Double-click for Strobe" feature on the flashlight under review here! The company "Niteize" has a feature in some of their lights that makes me wonder why EVERYONE doesn't adopt this; No matter what mode you click-to, if you REMAIN in that mode for MORE THAN TWO-SECONDS, the Next-Next-Click will turn it OFF!..... For me this is especially important with lights that have a Strobe-function just prior to the off-state, Which forces you to experience a "Moment of Strobe" JUST prior to there being NO light at ALL!!... which leaves your vision worse-off right-away than the light you Had been using up to that moment alone would have! (As well as substantially reducing switch-wear by eliminating THREE of the clicks You would need otherwise just to turn it OFF every time!.... .... Well, as it turns out the ONE thing that's forced me to dispose of 98% of the flashlights I've owned over the years has been SWITCH-FAILURE!.... So I'm QUITE interested in ANY-thing that will reduce the WEAR of That particular Component!...Thanx for the Review!
