I once saved my class from getting punished by saying that I hadn't bothered to do the homework. That day, a lot of lads in the class hadn't their homework done. The teacher said he would be going around to everyone to check their homework. He got through a few lads who did have their homework done before he got to me. He asked me why I didn't have my homework. I said I wasn't bothered to do it. He gave me a penalty sheet which is/was a sheet where you had to write out a load of words four times and they were really hard to spell. However, because I had distracted him so much, he forgot about checking everyone else's homework. This song basically epitomises that feeling of saving the class from punishment.
