map gas a suitable size socket for the inner race of the crank bearing, let the heat transfer for a min, when you put cases together it pretty much falls together and the out part of the bearing dont get warm again 👍

@Toady that is what I do too. I have a large bushing from a Harley compensator that I heat up. Works great
