Whats best about Kang Seungyoon stage act was he is always build the mood from 0 to 10. He knows where to put the exposition, rising act, climax, falling act, and denouement. His singing is just like how story teller elaborate a story. He is not only a singer indeed, but also a story teller. I love every stage act Kang Seungyoon put on to. this show is the best thing that ever happened to talents like Kyuhyun or Kang Seung Yoon who to some extend has proven himself to be great solo vocalist with strong presence but seemingly overlooked because of their background as popular idol group member. They put on these mask and just sing their heart out without prejudice, and there's a big reason why out of a lot of idols who are good in singing, both of them did take the throne and stay Kings for weeks, it's because they hone themselves in their own style as an individual musician/vocalists

@basudira meiranata oh a new fan i assume? 😅 try fool, island, air and smile again. Those are some of my favs. Also, fyi this is yoon's second time in king of masked singer. Try to watch his previous performance, he sang baby baby by 4men and you can clearly see and hear the resemblance from that perf to this. It was also one of his best perfs.

I do hope you'll give winner a chance, they had a show youth over flowers all thanks to mino winning games in njttw. By the way, seungyoon is an actor too and one of my fav kdrama is prison playbook, he is a minor character there but you'll love every characters there, it's a black comedy made by the same team who created reply series.

Really Really is made by this man, seungyoon, with some help by mino and hoony too.

Kang seungyoon the 122nd king in king of masked singer. He is one of the vocal powerhouse of the 3rd gen idols, not to mention from a rare baritone vocalist. He is widely known for his wonderful voice and technique even from his superstar K days, but he is an underrated producer despite producing bops that dominate the Korean music charts. He’s been producing hits with different genres, the genre that is only belongs to winner he said, from the ever famous Really Really to the catchy Millions; he also proved that he is no ordinary writer, his lyrics will stuck in your head easily. He’s a musical genius but his solo comeback and full solo album has been delayed for so long. With this win, I hope he will be more confident in releasing his album this year. kang seungyoon is still young compared to many of his seniors. he has a very long journey ahead but already matured as a professional singer, smart, great in showing emotions of every song and knowing well how to use his voice. he is also very humble. we will be always supporting you and praying for you to keep getting a lot of chances to sing as a soloist on stage

Treasure is a vocal powerhouse now. Hell, vocal prodigy Yedam can alone carry the entire 4th gen vocals on his back.

You can tell that he was changing his voice and singing in a different style to sound older. It worked out well for him because there is a bias against idols so him seeming older got him more respect from the panel.

Seeing him sing like this with his heart out, a kinda different vibe when he's in WINNER, still really makes me smile. Kang Seungyoon, you're really doing great

Remember those 5d's music edited online? Thats how it feels like to hear Yoon's voice live......that feeling that you're wrap inside his voice. That your are sorrounded with its melody and you were lost in his tone. I suddenly missed it.

Yoon always put his team first which is why he went from the „instinctively“ guy to someone forgotten by the public, unless they were interested in his group. I‘m so happy that he once again proved his individual value and with the 2 older members of winner probably enlisting this year he will hold the grounds and do well by himself as a soloist, I’m pretty sure. It‘s been too long

There are many great singers out there. But what so special about this person is that he always sings the cover songs as his own. Whenever he sings other people’s songs, he doesn’t make it better or worse but unique in his own style. And it’s great!! Whoever you are (even though I kinda have a clue) I wish the best for you & your future. You’re really a 💎 in music industry. I’ll be waiting patiently for your solo album to come out.. Fighting!!!

I have other faves who did this song too but no one compares to Seungyoon. And this is coming from a genuine heart. No one starts the song the way he did. No one puts intensity on the parts where it needs high intensity like he did. No one was as calm as he was on the right parts. No one sang this song better than him, yet. It’s not even my most favorite Joo Yoonbal stage. Please he’s just too great of a singer.

By "famous" you mean, less people know them? Then, I think you had no idea how famous WINNER are in Korea 😅 maybe internationally, yes. But in Korea, they're well known. Not just in the name of "WINNER", but individually too. As for Kang Seungyoon, he's bloody well known. People, regardless of age know him better than other famous group member. In 2010, he even won ROTY even before sign with YGE. He's everywhere in Korea that time. People even called him "Mnet's son" bcs he frequently come out on tv after his appearance on SuperStarK2.

That’s why Yoon is also a great actor as well! Even if he plays a completely different person, there’s still little hints of Yoon in them. But that’s expected of Kang Seung Yoon, he’s super talented and puts in so much effort and passion in everything he does. ❤️

Finally!! his given time to showcase how such a masterpiece he is. .. I feel bad how underated he is, with his is singing skills. But you can see how winner really tried to work hard to make it to this industry. Thier Ugly version with Daesung was heaven👌👏
