She was his influence in social consciousness, as well as his godfather Mutulu Shakur, Geronimo Pratt, and a list of others he got connected to directly through his mother. He learned the game of life, and got his masculinity from the streets. He got connected to how real the struggle is from the streets. Everything his mother taught him about the history of this country and it's relationship to black people was actualized in the streets. And yes, it was all divinely orchestrated, and God had marked him for this before he was in the womb. I'm just saying, is mother played a big part in the divine orchestration. He said a lot about her influence on him.

The only reason why, I would put 2pac #1 on my list is because he happened to be the rapper that was around when I just started listening to rap in 1994... And he is the most influential, but not the most skilled... Snoop Dogg also helped him get the marketing. Others that I would consider more skilled would be: Rakem, Eminem, Tech 9, KRS, Nas...
