I love Grace Lee's part of the interview! Nakaka.proud with the way she slides her tongue fluently & effortlessly from English to Tagalog to Korean. I feel proud, esp with that in front of 2NE1! Thanks Grace Lee!!! Nakaka.proud!!

CL is indeed a good leader. ;) she seems to handle things well esp. the ones concerning her members. like when dara was uncomfortable with her chair and when no one else could answer the questions thrown at them ;)) GOOD JOB!! wootowooot. 2NE is LOOOVE!;))

they all know how to speak English even gong minzy who actually grows up in Korea, they're Koreans that's why they still want to be asked and answered in Korean.. they're proud being Korean..

The reason why 2NE1 was in YG is because they like the music that they produce. So it's not their fault if they only choose who's within their company. They have the same tastes in music and they all love what genre that YG has. It's not korean ent. companies' fault. :))

I know you guys are saying "There is no need for a translator! 2NE1 can speak English." Well, get your facts straight 3/4 of 2NE1 can speak/UNDERSTAND! English. Minzy is still learning English, and she still needs help with understanding the language. The most fluent/ the ones understand the most English is CL and Bom. Dara is a little uncomfortable with her English and she is confident in it, but in situations she will use it, and the translator is there to make sure fully knows what they are

I felt like they didn't know who was answering what. They are all used to CL answering since she interacts the best with interviewers. Please don't think the 2ne1 members didn't want to be there. If you see the other interviews too with korean interviews as well they are always like this. Very shy~ and I think they haven't had the chance to interact with the other Koop artists yet. Unless they make their own music like GD and go to the other artists to work with them, they don't really have any opportunity

@sk8erboi9800 I don't think that the translators were solely for 2NE1. They probably needed translators for the other people in the room, such as the press...

uhh. no im pretty sure they've said in a interview that they arent really allowed to listen to external krn groups.. ie. its a PR/training method to not mention, promote, or admire anyone outside of ones own company. i know people who work in these companies, they've confirmed this. :)

They are so approachable at least for a Filipino American like me. They speak at least two languages that I can understand. That's a great skill to have. Anyway, Thanks for sharing, I am a new fan of 2NE1. I knew Sandara before so it's not a surprise that I like this group lol.

why do they freaking need a translator when they can understand english? and also they can speak english so they dont have to speak korean...thats philippines and most pinoys are fluent in englush...its basically our second language...the translator makes its more difficult for both parties and it prolongs the conference even more
