I WAS THERE. IT WAS AMAZING! I had to sit down after that performance because my whole body was in shock from just witnessing a 2ne1 performance. It was the most amazing surprise of the entire weekend for me, tbh. It was absolutely worth the money and effort of going to Coachella for me. Lol

First of all, biggest thank you to my CL for bringing your 2NE1 sisters on your Coachella debut. This is to prove that 2NE1 isn’t dead and so as to Blackjacks. Thank you for proposing this idea to the Coachella and 88rising team. Second, to Dara,Bom and Minzy for allowing this to happen. They flew over to the US from South Korea and we all know they have their own busy schedules. To Bommie, thank you for performing back on the stage again. I know how it must be nerve wrecking for you to perform on stage in front of these huge crowd. It’s been awhile and I know you’ve had thought alot of things on doing this but you’ve still made it through. You did so great! We love you and we miss you! Third, to the agencies of Dara (Abyss) and Bom (Dnation) for allowing your artists to perform, reunite back on stage together again with CL and Minzy. Thank you for understanding, considerate and supporting our girls. Fourth, to Coachella and 88rising team, for allowing CL’s idea and proposal to bring her 2NE1 sisters on her Coachella stage debut. The fact that Dara lost her shoe in the middle of the performance but still maintained her performance like nothing happened... Her professionalism is undeniable, her stage presence owned the stage!

I’ve never wanted to go to Coachella because crowds make me anxious but I would have given up my left arm to be there and see them back on stage after waiting for 7 years 😭😭😭 THE BEST♠️

A disbanded group that hasn't performed together in years shows up for one song, without any crazy production, and showed the entire industry how it's done.

@@purplered7004 lmao gen 2 is what made K-pop world wide famous, on top of that they had less funds, less social media coverage as back then social media was still a new concept, less western media appearances, fewer deals with companies and somehow yet they popularised the entire genre, without gen 2 there would be no gen 3, gen 3 when it emerged it already had the base to start from, gen 2 created that base

The screaming fans, the phones recording this performance; shows the power that 2NE1 has until now even they are disband. No group can replace them.
