See that champ car thingy Adam got recently , with the bike engine ? It would be very cool to build your own from the ground up, with your own custom tube chassis, with drifting in mind (you now know it kinda works because Adam managed to make it work~ish) . So a small single seater, with a light and powerful engine (turbo 13B?) and a rad look. Please do it ! It might become a new drifting category alltogether ;)

I would love to see, maybe a laurel? ( or just some chassis you are not normally working on), build as a full drift car, BUT as a showcar, like, stripping it, acid dip/sandblast it, new awesome paintjob, all new parts, nice interior, AND maybe with the V12 Chris is talking about 😆👌🏻

I want to see you guys do a BMW truck conversion (Think Sil80 truck conversion)!!!!! You guys would crush the fab and really get to play with it!!!!!!!! You could use it as a shop truck and spare drift chassis or time attack, and if you make it nice enough it could showcase Drift HQ products for SEMA because it would stand out! (I cant recall a nice truck conversion being done since the early 2000's)

18:00 Hartley Racing Engines build up those 1GZ-FE toyota v12s. There is actually one in a s14 drift car in New Zealand. Would love to see a 2urgse (isf/rcf etc) build on the channel too.

FDF I believe is working on an E39 angle kit. Would be awesome to see a 540 build and what you guys would do to make that chassis work

Jump car would be slick. Cricket can fab up new suspension points and build custom arms, long travel stuff. Take Ivan Stewart’s Baja 1000 T100 for instances it was 4 wheel independent and long travel. Now would you guys need that probably not but custom build 1-2 in longer arms maybe and new shock mounts or convert to shock hoops like the off road stuff. Yes it can be done simpler as I’m sure ever all seen hoonigans baja36 but it can be done better and you guys have the ability to make it better.

The steel plates for the cross are 14ga x3.5” strip. the aluminum was 18ga

Why not do an N54/N55 build? Could even build it in an e36 or e46? Would be cool to see a definitive build to make it more robust and work around (or get rid of) the BMW engine safety features. Throw a standalone ECU with port injection and make an alternative solution for the e-water pump. Be pioneers of an alternative 6cyl engine build vs the JZ, RB and B58 engines since those are so expensive. Love form South Africa!

Next build, S15 with a VR6 swap, or an E36/46 coupe with an RB30. @drifthq

personally i want to see more tutorials for both fab and wiring i would like to learn it but funds aren't there to try and pay for a course to learn to do it or leave my country to find someone who's actually willing to teach me the right way or even the janky way

Yes. We are going to close it off once we get the lines run so we know where to put the plate. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼just need everything ready for paint. The seat deck won’t be re sprayed

This is D.E.I heat shield. Works really good especially when you are dealing with bends and contours. Comes in silver or black

I dont know how bad E36 axles are, but E90 axles suck too. I had to modify a "FWD Hub Puller" from AutoZone to push the axles out of the hub. They are also a bitch to reinstall until i figured out the best way IMO. I put the new axle in the freezer before i start working on my car. Then I heat up the hub with a torch and take the axles out of the freezer and immediately slide them in to the hubs.

Jaron Olivecrona in D1NZ has a Lexus RCF with the 1GZFE (V12) and its also twin turbo (sounded way better when it was N/A in his S14 though imo). Motor was built by Nelson @ Hartley Engines. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aniI0MSnhrrQgNI.htmlsi=KRAbwxdFrxeb8iTD
