How about when the sensor is programmed correctly, brand new with a brand new battery and is 10 feet from the panel? The old non-encrypted sensors never had a problem. The e series has this issue a lot. All the encrypted information is not making it to the panel. It needs to be addressed and fixed.

question. I have the 2gig edge with a take-345 e series ( went from hardwired to wireless with the switch). Within two weeks, I have had a "Loss of Supervision" twice. I did not add any "Wireless Doors/Windows Contacts". Connection is immediate regain once I open Door/Window. What might be causing this? BTW, 2gig panel is not far away from take-345 e series.

Because the new e series stuff has issues with supervision failure. Probably the increased security encryption has data loss somewhere so the supervision fails. The only cure is to remove supervision, which is a key feature with any wireless device.

I have had the same issue intermittently with the take modules on the edge panel. Just some of the zones not all eight. I called tech support and they said they never heard anyone else having that problem. Being intermittent is the worst part. I think there is definitely a problem but they don’t want to admit it.

The 2gig edge system seems to have been released before it was ready, camera login fails most of the time depending on light and angle, the remote panel is the bigger issue, why this remote panel doesn't support mesh networks and wifi properly is another question, the main pain no issue, the remote panel non stop Loss of Supervision, which also causes the main panel to beep. I have 3 sat on a mesh and even ended up changing out to another company mesh system and the remote panel epic fails. for the price it should have had better wifi chipset. Poor QA
