Heidi and Grandfather move to the Manor just before winter so Heidi can go to school. People in the village are not too happy about that, especially the Kellers, who are still cross with Grandfather because they couldn’t buy his property. Mrs Keller refuses to sell Grandfather any supply and Grandfather is upset about it.
When Theresa breaks a statue in the store and needs Grandfather’s help to fix it before her parents come back, Grandfather refuses. So Theresa, scared of her parents’ reaction, runs away in the mountains. Heidi will need to convince Grandfather to help her find Theresa before she has an accident.
