Classic episode. The Soapy Maxwell segment is comedy gold. Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas were a perfect comedy duo and sketches like this and the McKenzie Brothers were where they were shining brightest. More people need to watch this show.
Wow, I haven't seen this episode since I was a teen! This is one of my favorite-ever episodes of SCTV; I love the Soapy Maxwell sketch! I also really love the Midnight Star segment this episode teases; it had some of the funniest "news" lines I've ever heard. Thanks a ton for sharing this!
