My biggest 8900 one month.. only 3 days off.. rest 12 to 15 hour days

Wow, thanks for the breakdown! I make more money Doordashing in Spring Valley and SouthWest, Vegas than I did at my corporate management positions. But people still tell me I don’t have a “real job” 🙄.

I do this full time and with an average of a 50 hour work week i make 5400 a month. Doing 70 like you did i would make about same. Average about 25 per hour. After managing restaurants for over 20 plus years. This is the easiest money ive ever made. Going on 2 and half years of gig work full time. Never going back to a w2 job.

So while you out in the rd , do you leave a mile tracker on and count all those miles while the door dash is active excepting orders. What miles count ?

Great stuff. Appreciate the time that went into that type of spreadsheet. I don't know man, it seems a lot of gig workers are paying way too much in taxes based on what my NYC accountant does for me. Shouldn't be more than 10% (feds anyway). Hope I don't get audited!! Lol. The new $30hr + tips pay model in NYC has been a game changer for me personally thus far. Doubling my weekly revenue. Sure, it gets a little boring sitting in traffic and such but if I'm getting paid, who cares. I'd say in summary that the avg. driver now in NYC with avg. stats can likely match you in Vegas being in the LOP/TD. If you can find 10 hrs of active time in NYC, it's $300+ per day now. I was lucky to break $120 prior.

Educate yourself on how tax brackets work, just because your in 22% doesn't mean all of your income is taxed at that rate.

You should increase your miles slightly for your taxes...No way in hell the IRS is auditing you because you say that you drove 5% more miles. If I were ever to be audited, I'd just tell them that the extra miles were for going to buy parts for my car, taking it to repair shops, etc. I'd find some other stuff to make up. Worst case, I pay a bit more.... Also, you can take the home office tax write-off, especially since you have a KZread channel.

8 days. I suggest ordering the catering bag thru DoorDash so they have it tied to you account.

Hey, because you were working away from home, you are missing out on a daily per diem cost. All of those daily food, and miscellaneous costs, can go under per diem on your taxes. We do that when my husband travels out of state for his job.

The stuff for breaks probably shouldn't be included. I bought two new tires last month for $250. It's a little unfair to say that I should subtract it from my November earnings, since I'll probably use those tires for 4-5 years.

We have progressive federal tax rates. 10%, 12% and then 22%, so you won’t be taxed at 22% for your total wages. So you will actually make a little more. 👍🏼

If the avg. person calculated their rent/food/clothes/car ins, etc, etc....the way he did...they'd look a lot poorer as well. The fact is his CA pay totals are in the top 99% tile compared to the rest of dashers in the country.
