After spending almost 15 minutes of anticipated waiting across Tracks No. 30 & 31, a 9-car 281 series EMU arrived at Kyoto Station at exactly 10.04 a.m. on Track No. 30. The train had initially arrived from Kansai International Airport as the Kansai Airport Limited Express "Haruka" No. 8 bound for Kyoto barely a few seconds earlier, and would undergo an extensive major cleaning process prior to securely becoming the Kansai Airport Limited Express "Haruka" No. 19 bound for Kansai International Airport. The central interior cleaning process took not more than approximately 10 minutes.
Upon completion of the entire major cleaning procedure, the train-cleaning signs were finally removed by 10.15 a.m., thus permitting the passengers to board the train service to Kansai International Airport. With that moment, I quickly boarded the train via Car No. 1, which was the Green Car (first class) coach, and stowed my baggage in the major baggage racks before securing my assigned Seat No. 7A for the rapid and routine early afternoon trip time of 1 hour 20 minutes to Kansai International Airport situated on the central reclaimed island around the waters of Osaka Bay.
The seat next to me, 7B, would remain vacant for the main early afternoon trip of 1 hour 20 minutes from Kyoto to Kansai International Airport. Once the clock struck around 10.30 a.m., all the train doors were closed, and the Kansai Airport Limited Express "Haruka" No. 19 soon departed Kyoto Station for its short and routine afternoon trip of just 1 hour 20 minutes to Kansai International Airport situated on the reclaimed artificial island close to the waters of Osaka Bay. I was then en route for a routine early afternoon trip duration of just 1 hour 20 minutes to Kansai International Airport situated along the reclaimed island close to the waters of Osaka Bay.
