To be honest it's hard to say, Saudi defenders are much worse than those in La Liga back in the day. Slower, easier to deceive, leave more open spaces. Ronaldo is exceptional considering his age but it's difficult to compare it to his glory days.

His season at 28 years old will always be memorable for me as a Madrid fan, that jersey will and always be special for me. I remember I was screaming so loud at 3:30 AM (typical asian watching football) when Ramos scored that header which ultimately led to the events of the La Decima. I accidentally woke my mother up because of that. I remember I became a Madrid fan when I was 11 because of Kaka. I was 14 back then when they won the La Decima and now 24, time flies so so fast. I will never forget the feeling of seeing my favorite team lift the Champions League for the first time in 12 years... I also remembered the mixed feelings I had during that season because it was the first season without Jose Mourinho, since this was Carlo Ancelotti's first tenure at Madrid. I'm sorry if I got too nostalgic lol!

I was sleepless but worth it as I told all my teammates about the match!! good times indeed. But it still sucks that Kaka's career got ruined by injuries, right? If he was never injured I would've been a Kaka fan for life... not gonna lie. As he was the first player that I knew from Real Madrid. Quick story of that is because when my dad bought me a PS3, the game that came with it was FIFA 11 and he was on the cover with Wayne Rooney.

Remember, he averaged 3.5 dribbles per game pre knee injury and was always relying on his pace to dribble past defenders which is good but all that fades with age. So the knee injury really helped him adapt to his age in his 30s

There is no player who can prove himself anywhere but Ronaldo. Great player at 38 absolutely stunning, but also have to keep in mind that La liga was the toughest league in the world in 2013 where he absolutely dominated the whole league at the age of 28, the reason Ronaldo seems more defensive is because of the way better defenders than the Saudi League you can notice that very clearly in the video, 28 year old Ronaldo would score 5 goals every game in that league, so I dont think this comparison is fair but Ronaldo's got to be the best player at the age of 38 right now and his speed at that age is even better than some young footballers

Even at 38, he is still a level above normal forwards at their peak. Just imagine Vincent Kompany insulting this man on live TV. Ronaldo must be privy to some advanced ageing science that allows him to defy nature. That said, there are players on record who have played into their 50's. I believe there is one in the J League. I believe the likes of Neymar and Mane going to the Saudi League would be a good marker for Ronaldo. If the league is soft, then theyd be scoring bucket loads. That hasn't happened and Ronaldo currently top scores in the league. We haven't even mentioned what he did in serie a. The true GOAT
