Damn, my pops grew up in the 1940’s on Hickory between Santa Ana and 110th. My grandmomma lived in that house from the 1930’s until she died in 2016…. When I was a youngster in the mid 80’s that whole area was active but I only remember Grape St and Bounty Hunters, I don’t remember Hickory St Crips at that time…

I was in a Compton liquor store the 1st time I found out what that rose 🌹 in the glass case was used for. They were taped to the bullet proof glass next to various size baggies for sale !!😂😂
