But mam while preparing Final accounts we will record depreciation adjustments and deduct the depreciation from the asset value in Balance sheet. Normally depreciation amount will come in the debit side of P/L Then Mam I can't understand that why did you said that depreciation is not charged in P/L A/c

Depreciation calculations auditors will do at year end , since we are preparing this as per IT act , depreciation as per IT act is allowable .hence depreciation as per companies act which is debited or charged to pnl a/c is now added back as disallowance.
