To elaborate a bit, it all depends on the bike.
Every situation is different, for some bikes it can be dangerous to run an aftermarket exhaust without a tune but for the MT07, you can get away with doing it in my opinion.
As of writing this, I have been riding with it for a few weeks and am already a huge fan of the smoother engine braking. I am finding it almost impossible to get any "pops" on decel though.
As for MPGs, I'm getting about 40-45 but the current tank I'm on seems to be doing a bit better.
The difference isn't night and day by any means, but it does smooth out the ride. Do your own research and decide for yourself.

love those mirrors! which ones are those?
I had my Kawasaki Ninja 1000 sx flashed it made a huge difference. My bike felt like you let off the throttle when approaching 7000 rpm of so, literally you would feel like the breaks were on while trying to accelerate. It now pulls right up to 10,000 rpm and probably more ( have not pushed it)
Did you put a cap in where your 02 sensor went on your exhaust? I just got mine back and it says you have to unplug your 02 sensor from the exhaust/bike for it to work correctly

kzread.info/dash/bejne/p2uOm9ecocjOptY.html, the ecu is that black box you see at 1:32 in this video, you do have to press a piece down to take the lock off the ecu.

nice bike. not a big fan of the sound of it. it seems like Yamaha was trying to mimic a Harley on the sound. there is something about the sound of an inline 4 that blows away the 3 bangers.

The yosh definitely does sound most like harley out of all the MT07 aftermarkets. Might have to look into the ZX4 when it hits the U.S.
