That looks great! I use alcohol when possible to measure my molds instead of water. Dries quicker than water to be able to use the mold sooner.

Very cool mold. ❤❤❤ that stingray. Would make a cool seascape with several in a poured table. Have you ever watched them dance? They do a ballet type leap in the air and spin and dive back into the ocean. It’s pretty impressive. Great mold. One of the best I’ve seen honestly. 🥰

I use this mould housing regularly & use just the tape & transfer tape sheet i use for vinyl. As long as you don't try to move it you don't need the hot glue x

Oh wow, Michelle, you gave us everything in this video....the laughter was the best honestly...but thank you for the best teaching video I was only saying to Paul last night about creating my own mold (you would never guess what of) and you pop up today with a tutorial 😂 you could easily sell that mold, you're so talented, and the glow in the dark stingray itself that is just out of this world, I love stingrays, they are so beautiful and you did that little guy justice 🩵 can't wait for the next one....p.s so happy to see Don and the good ole you and Don banter had me in fits of giggles as always 💙🫂&🙏🏻 to you both xxx

Michelle, I watch you use your favorite sparkle dust (which I have and use all the time) and mean to tell you about PolyColor Gold Metallic Dust. Have you heard of it? If not, check it out. It’s the same as your silvery/white sparkle dust but in gold. Adds a lot of great sparkle. Enjoy!!

Pretty little stingray, I love when things glow in the dark, but I always add a little color, so it has color during the day and glows at night….just a preference for me

Last time it still glowed when you added other coloring because it was too pale.

Forgot to mention, you can pour the alcohol back into the bottle to reuse after you get your amount. No waste like when you use water.

❤ he’s such a cute little stingray. He glows in the dark really well and what you should do is take them and put them on your husband’s pillow that would be so funny or he might not be glowing by then. Oh well you’ll think of something to do. I have faith in you.😂

pretty cool! I made a mold of a leaf dish, and had to add more silicon to cover one small part, which made it thick in one part with nothing but silicon. when it was almost set I pushed some cabochons into the silicon to make molds on the back side of the leaf dish mold. i didn't want to waste the silicon if it could make me another mold. that stuff isn't cheap!

I use the double sided tape, on my cake boards for the ribbon. The tape is amazing.

I would love to buy the mold! ❤ I have a large glass sting ray l had bought in an aquarium many years ago. It is about twice the size of yours. It would take an insane amount of silicone to make, not to mention the size of housing I would need. 😢

My only suggestion here is: Do not use this mold in a pressure pot. You will have all sorts of bumps from the tiny air bubbles in the silicone. But for casting without a pressure pot, this is perfect!

@@appleoneill5135 ok, from the bits I can find, I certainly won't be doing it. Copyright belongs to the person who created the original, unless that person is working for a company, then their designs likely belong to their employer. Knowing the creator, or not, does not cancel copyright law.
