Hi! Im kind of confused now. I have 3 questions to ask Why is it important for the angle of the corner of the square/rectangle to form 90 degrees? Would it change the shape of the rectangle/square? I dont get how the station point determine if the angle of the rectangle/square is 90°?

It's only important if you want the thing you are drawing to have 90° corners. Rectangles and squares have 90° corners. If you want to draw an object with a 30° corner you make a 30° angle at the SP. Think of the SP as the center of a protractor. True angles are found at the SP,. Perspective angles are found using vanishing points.

@@trustyourperspective Thank you! I get it now! I have another one (I'm sorry if my questions lack common sense😅) If the station point's angle can be changed depending on the object's angle of its corner (let's say 30°), will the measuring point's angle from the station point change or remain the same? I was thinking that if the isosceles triangles from the station point help with objects that are rectangle or squares, would it still help other objects that aren't 90°

@@kroki12 Yes, the distance form the VP to SP needs to be the same as the distance from the VP to the MP

@@trustyourperspective I see. Do all these things: -change of SP angle depending on the object - change of angle in MPs when the station point angle changes apply for one point perspective or only for 2 point perspective?
