Nothing like fast decaying. Many women from times past have passed of children that aren't theirs.. the difference today is easy technology to detect it and the women today not as bothered as the older generation to keep things discreet as discreet. And things like test for visa etc which were not done in the past.

My take is what she just mentioned. Do DNA from birth and attach it to the birth certificate to avoid a story that touches you. That will solve all these issues. Anyone can make mistakes but its better to know early than later.

That’s an angle they didn’t touch on which I was hoping they would because it has been known to happen before. Although in this case , four kids of varying ages can’t have been swapped in hospital at birth. That’s just an impossible coincidence don’t you think?

Some women go to any extent to have children and the man either turns a blind eye or doesn't even know. Doesn't always mean it's adultery. Buying babies is rampant in Nigeria.

In that is the case, then it will show that the mother is also not the parent. Both parents should take the DNA test to rule that out.

Mama YK yes I agreed with her 100% women should have self respect no matter what... at the end of the day forgiveness is the key word here we should learn to forgive at all time depending on the Mental Health awareness... some of these married women should stop sleeping around please.

Many have asked this question before and Morayo who’s the brain behind the show has said that she created it mainly as a means for women to have a voice on political, social and economic issues. There are already many other shows with men as anchors but none for women hence this show. I agree though that some topics need both genders to give a balanced view.

Honestly. It’s really difficult not to view her opinions as lacking in logic many times because they are just that, illogical. Although has claimed a number of times that she has to present these alternative views as the moderator of the discussion, to give a more balanced perspective on the topic. It must be a difficult position to be in especially if those views are deemed unpopular. 😊

Stop 🛑 how many people marry because of love in Nigeria? Both men and women in Nigeria are yet to learn to marry for the right reasons; love. This settles all laws However, I’ll be deceiving myself if I think that in a country where people are chronically poor, that they’ll marry for love. There is something called cost effectiveness/benefits of a test to a patient or the diagnosis in medicine. In this principle you weigh the chances of that test you want to do as a Doctor confirming or disputing you suspected diagnosis(or in this case the diagnosis suggested by an earlier diagnosis) before embarking on the new test. In view of this it is inadvisable to be pursueing possibilities of chimerism in every case of DNA test where the woman denied (may be even feebly like the index case) promiscuity. A good example of a case that may merit pursuance of chimerism is that of the example of the woman who was said not be the mother of her baby/child.

The resolution is very simple... If a woman can accept this to happen to a male relative in their marriage, then no problem.

The view ladies, you should invite men when issues of DNA are concerned because men are the victims. I think every child has the right to know who is her/ his biological father. It should be mandatory at birth paid by parents.

Some of these women are justifying abomination. If a man cannot have a child and the woman knows. She has a choice too but going outside the marriage to bring children is even worse. Infidelity from men and women should not be justified on any ground.

Well even if she found out the husband was sterile or could performance his conjugal right in that aspect she had two options leaving or cleaving and not messing up.

The man should know he can not pregnant his wife. He should have not proclaim this issue publicly. He should have discussed the issue with his wife. Am sorry for the man for coming out publicly to embarrassed himself.

YK was so passionate and yes, integrity is one of the issues, but there are many more. Also, the original story of the man whose four children are not biological is, I will not be surprised if he knew he had fertility problems and the wife helped him by getting pregnant by someone else. Just because he decided to bring her on a show, doesn’t mean he didn’t know. Also, Morayo used the word “magnanimous” correctly.

Hi to everyone ..please, i have see a man that was infertility ,but he can actually perform very well and she co operate with his wife to go somewhere and get pregnant..they raised the children's together, but later ,there was a conflict between both of them due to the man was cheating, the woman decided to ask for separation to move on,due to that the man came out and start telling families those children's does not belong to him to shame and disgrace the woman..and this bro was cheating outside and the sidechick said he is the owner of are own children's..DNA was done non of those children's belong to the man and the first wife has already gone and settle with another man.but the man is now begging for the first wife to come back..

I know a man it happened to, one of his children was not his. He officially adopted the child because it’s not the child’s fault. Later they divorced for other reasons, but they’re co-parenting the children. They’re all adults and independent now. Infact, he told me that that child even loves him more than his biological children. So let’s not make this issue more difficult for the unfortunate children caught in adults mess, it’s not their fault and no one goes on the road with label of the circumstances of their conception or birth, after all children can be adopted, and life goes on. If there’s any trauma, it would come from adults themselves. So let’s talk to the adults on how to manage the situation in a way that the children involved are NOT traumatized. This is why Igbos made that decision long time ago. Our ancestors are wise, but Christians today like to deceive themselves and prefer to deny realities. Rather than think of solutions ahead of time, they’ll pretend things do not happen, or come with that their “holier than thou attitude.”
