There was no respawns for them (duh) it would've been really intense and scary but that would be am exhilarating way to go out, the battlecries and yells

Pre-gunpowder armies tended to stare at each other on opposite ends of a field more often than actually fight Historically a majority of casualties are non-combat related: Sickness, starvation, dehydration, exposure, accidents, the list goes on However sieges (at the final stage) were notably brutal experiences no too dissimilar from WW1 as defenders would throw anything and everything down on top of you

No same I would of imagine alot of the time it wouldn't be instant death like a bullet to the head, unless you got your head chopped off, I bet alot of our ancestors in the wars actaully bled to death most of the time. One wrong move and your laying knowing it's all ending in 30mins or how ever long, days even, no morphine back then either 😭

This music is the definition of morale and motivation, Especially when your at courtyard and your about to lose the fight, Argon just comes out like a true king and starts fighting along side you. Truly inspiring.

Luckily I was a Mason (My chosen Faction) the first time I played the map. I was in awe when Argon actually came out to fight with his men, I thought we would have to attack his throneroom. It hit different when this started playing though as it was the buildup to finally defeating Agatha. It was very satisfying to put down the rebellion although its probably not the canon ending to the battle

Got to play as Argon in one of my first matches on the map. Despite our backs against the wall, there was zero hesitation to charge forth in pure defiance to put down the enemy team despite having been nearly steamrolled all game. The moment I jumped the barricade it was the tip of the spear as we crushed through a swarm of Masons. There was no fear, and no surrender, and even as I came close to death there were like a dozen of my teammates jumping in the Mason's path to stop them from killing me. Raising that flag with a wall of lions around me was the greatest moment ever for me in the game.

Music that is meant to pump everyone up in the game, it's meant to make defenders morale go up as they hold out for just one final minute. But then you hear, "The Duke has been slain! Why!!!!!!" I love this game

Hearing this in game is definitely a battlefield 1442 moment

This melody is no less than an elixir of strength in battle, hats off to the musicians.

Chivalry is the only fast paced multiplayer game that I have played that gives me a sense of belonging to it's factions despite me not knowing anything about the lore. When you hear this you fight twice as hard for whatever faction you're in

Especially I was the ONLY One Charged at the Banner (where archers usually hang on left side of castle) but as soon As I died the rest of the gangs arrived and started HOLDING THE Line hearing lots of metal sounds and shield bang. Epic

When the countdown of 2 minute start, and you just start to fight with double effort for push that dam cart and slain the Agatha Duke.

This song is so good it makes me want to lose when I'm playing Masons on Thayic Stronghold

Most epic moment when the king comes out of his castle with battle cries on this new map. The battered, tired troops are gaining hope again, giving all they can... One - Last - Time. At least that's what I always feel.

It is incredibly epic when this kicks in, as soon as it does you seem to fight 10 times harder then you were before. This song on team objective is incredible, its like you are actually there on the battlefield fighting. I love the first game and the beta for the second is already flawless. - I would never simp Argon II: Cover me as I raise our banner high, for Agatha! - duty_and_honor_II.mp3 - You have my hammer and my shield, my liege! Also funny sidenote, recently picked this up on PS plus and my first game on the winter map had me attacking as the Mason's. I managed to shove Argon off the bridge and into the crevice, killing both him and myself instantly.

The first Chivalry was one of my absolute favorite games for years, it has some serious nostalgia going for it, and specifically for the original version of this song. My first game of Chivalry 2 started off pretty rough, but towards the end we had a massive comeback, and then this absolute masterpiece started to play. It quite literally brought tears to my eyes, it is absolutely incredible. Thank you for doing so much to make Chivalry 2 not only an excellent game, but truly meaningful to myself and so many others!

I've seen completely one sided slaughters reverse course into clutched victories, archers fight like men, players possessed with suicidal abandon - all under the weight of this track's cords. It has a magic to it.

All those memories that come back from chiv1 with this song

HONOR AND DUTYYY!

The most epic song. Unironically gets me hyped everytime.

When this song hit hard it's like to be invincible.. you attack, parry and feint is over 9000% better.. this is masterpiece.

This is like the single MOST EPIC song of all, that makes you believe that you can turn the tide of the battle and makes you fight 10 times better I absolutely loved the 1st Chivalry game but the 2nd made me even more excited. Chivalry 2 is a jewel.

I love avenging Galencourt, slaughtering Pagans and knocking down their "sacred" stones in the process with this song playing

I played the Chiv 2 beta and I gotta say that this piece is truly incredible as is the rest of the soundtrack. This one in particular is like some old eldritch magic. I was on in matches where you'd have a team that was faltering, on the verge of losing, then this kicks in, and wow...suddenly the losing team fights back insanely hard and wins! I think the great Carl Orff would be proud of your work.

Always considered this the best theme from the original game. Hearing this blare from the speakers as I completed the tutorial was an experience, drove home the feeling that Chivalry had grown bigger and even better. Remastering was a great call.

@@Defox03 Malric is not an usurper, he conquered the Kingdome and now by the law of the sword he is the rightfull king, Argon house proved us that they are not worth of our loyality and they will not recive it anymore, loyality is something valuble, you not gift it at the firt blond boy you see on the street, you decided to follow Argon the second without even be sure if he is the real son of that pig of Argon the first. And for what? In Malric Kingdome every man have the same chance to become something more if they want to, Argon will just put you n your place letting you know that you born peasant and you will die as a peasant, Malric is the simbole of it, he was made a noble but he was't accepted, in fact king Argon refused to let Malric marring his doughter, for his origin even if Malric was his best general in the army, only becausehe wasn't a pure blood noble.

Playing Chiv 2 first time very close game we start losing. Gets down to last 2 minutes and this song starts up and we end up coming back from oblivion and winning amazing!

This is great! The Adrenaline starts pumping in when i hear the first part! I just played a match where i charged in the dukes quarters and killed like 7 people whilst trying to get to him but finally died from an archer :(

I got to play as Argon today. The feeling is just amazing. We were desperately holding the line, faltering, and overwhelmed. Then I knew the king was about to step out to fight with us and raise our spirits. Then I got the message to play as him and accepted. I stepped out the doors right as the music reached 0:18, and I charged out to demolish the horde of red and black-armored besiegers. As an aggressive knight that uses the longsword primarily, I felt like I was meant for the role, and swung wildly, cleaving enemies apart left, right, and center. I was getting commendations from slain foes with every swing, and I pushed hard. I was playing with a good friend at the time, and I even yelled "For Agatha" into the mic as I charged into the fray. I sadly fell at the last objective, cut down while I stood alone, surrounded by enemies as all the allies I had were killed around me, leaving me to fend for myself while the next wave was still on the other side of the draw bridge. It was a truly amazing experience, and I was honored, both to have been picked to play that role, and to have played with these fine people on both teams.

I can't believe this game is just being added to Steam, the soundtrack is magnificent!

This hit different when we finally had an opportunity to kill Argon II, was very satisfying to crush their measly rebellion.

I only think of the recent battlefield games that use music like this at the end of the round. I just wish this game had overtime so these tracks could keep playing as everyone fights for the final objective. Amazing work by everyone involved

When this played for me I went in and killed 3 enemies trying to defuse our bomb without sustaining any damage. It truly makes you go god mode

I was doing a research project for music and Chivalry music is super well made, I started out by re listenting to the Chivalry 1 main theme and grew kinda curious about Buckley but i couldn't find much info about him. I am glad he still composes is all. This score is amazing, thank you J.D

Well done with soundtrack it really adds alot of immersion and feel to the game its dream come true for people who like medieval game genre.
