Seen a few within London and in other cities around the world, this is definitely one unique penthouse in Casson Square. I agree with other some commentators, would have been nice to seen more ensuites in other rooms. Nevertheless, furnished just to give that extra imagination like the rooms in Belvedere Gardens. There are other penthouses in the development that are furnished but they are not the same spec.

60K service charge but what is the ground rent. For those not familiar with UK property this is a leasehold property so it’s technically rented from the freeholders. You pay the freeholder a yearly rent and when the lease falls below 90 years you have to pay to extend it. Strange property big in bedrooms but not in scale. Some rooms look oddly slim. The penthouse floor is what makes this one stand out but it’s a bit to rich for me at the moment. Nice presentation.

Stunning specially the upper floor bedroom (no direct elevator to top floor?) with natural light from the ceiling. It looks like you get an almost 360° view but unfortunately with lots of obstructions from nearby buildings. For instance, you cannot see Big Ben and Houses of Parliament to the west. The location is perfect. Waterloo station is right behind you. You have the southbank walk right in front. Trafalgar Square is just half a mile away.

No direct elevator to the upper floor however you can add an internal elevator in if needed. The views from each room in the penthouse are expansive and far reaching.

I’d have put all of the bedrooms on the same floor and made the top floor the living/entertaining space.

With myself being on the other side of the pond I will ask you to repeat something. Monthly commons charges, 5,000 pounds (fair given the sheer size) and something else I think you called it "ground rent". Please explain what that is, in simple terms.

This is a leasehold property not freehold. In leasehold properties, what u buy is the lease (right to occupy the property for the duration of the lease), not the property itself. Ground rent is a fee u pay the landlord for the land that the property sits on.
