He's so right. This is what I love so much about Viggo. He isn't like everyone else, doesn't care if he's being different. I loved the poem he wrote himself and read. And the thing he said at the end: "God is not angry, you are." So true. I think it's important that people with such influence on others, like Viggo has, stands up against it, I really do admire him greatly for his political interests. War is NOT the answer. Thank you for sharing this video.

This great poem “Back to Babylon” was written before the Iraq war started in Mar 2003. I appears on one of Viggo’s many CDs of music and poetry called “Pandemonium in America” . It is available at his publishing website PercevalPress. It is eerie and spooky with the musical accompaniment, featuring former Guns and Roses guitarist Buckethead, plus LOTR cast members including Elijah Wood.

An impassioned speech from Viggo about the incongruities of warfare. Unfortunately war is ever existent on two fronts, the invisible domestic war on the homefront and the visible war with the troops paraded and trumpeted as they attack in a foreign land. What is the solution, when war means employment for those who otherwise would be idle, when war brings glory and access to the portable commodities of LIFE????????????
