I just didn't understand the concept of doing pooja and showing your back to the deity by everyone during the entire function. The set up for pooja should have been somewhere in side if you wanted to perform as well so that back is not towards the deity.

Anushka, never settle in Mangalore. Less opportunities for job & dull life. Don't make a mistake settling in Mangalore as I am repenting as my elder son is in Bangalore working & another will go to Bangalore after PUC. We parents are left alone in Mangalore. Actually we were in Bangalore due to some reason we came to Mangalore. Think before you decide to settle in Mangalore.

@@artiqueno Mangalore is a boaring place where people are really lazy, afternoon they sleep, very difficult to get labours to get anything repaired, very less salary, in Bangalore/Bombay you have plenty of jobs, here most head of the families work in Dubai /Bombay leaving their joint family back. Are you from Mangalore? If you are not from Mangalore come experience & you will be frustrated. You ask Padmini Acharya , she would give some feed back.
