    No way! What a coincidence! I've just watched today an episode where stargate team on Atlantis discovered what they believed was supposed to be an Ancient in a stasis pod. Soon enough it turned out that it was Elizabeth Weir who had travelled 10 000 years back in time shortly after first arrival to Atlantis, met the Ancients and Janus among them, the creator of a time machine. What a startling episode!

    He is the first actor I've seen who recalls (and has seen an old performance) and it's satisfied with the portrayal of a character. So zen. Fantastic interview. Loved Janus & Gideon 💙💙💙💙 Thank you, David.

    audio books for me are a life saver, i have bad dyslexia and reading retention is so painfuly slow and tedios. But having headphones on and listing just totally immerses me to the story as i hear it. its amazing

    He was great as janus i just wish they could have expanded more on the ancient story lines in sg atlantis

    It really would have been cool to see Janus again, it's incredibly surprising that he was only in the one episode. Maybe they wanted to avoid a potential repeat of how Merlin just kept showing up in SG1 (to avoid the comparisons/similarities of the two shows)? Janus was one of the friendlier Ancients and I feel Atlantis would have benefited from his occasional appearances greatly.

    I always assumed that his inability to obey/tendency to disobey the council (he rebuilt the time machine after all) meant that after he ascended he was one of the first to end up punished by the other ascended. The best we could have hoped for was him being behind Orlin or Oma.
