Yeah, came here to say that the pitch accent was off as hell and it was mire like... Swedish spoken with a mix of Norwegian and Danish accents, but honestly, after learning only Danish form the Nordic languages, it's quite impressive. As someone who've learned only Swedish, whenever I try to speak either Norwegian or Danish, everybody tells me I have a strong Swedish accent, but like bruh it's no wonder when the only Nordic language I know is Swedish XD I'm kinda understood though in both languages when I read/speak them, so I've been told. If nor, I'll just switch to Swedish, and most of them will understand me w/o issues.

Your Finnish accent wasn’t that bad for a foreigner. As a Finn I can already say that it was slightly better than most. The hardest part is pronouncing the L, Y, Ä and Ö. They are very different from every other language but worth knowing (and also very important knowing) if you consider learning Finnish.

@@areloTET after researching qualitative and quantitative consonant gradation for almost 3 entire minutes I have a theory as to why people struggle with consonant gradation. It’s that they have no idea that such a thing is even possible so they don’t know to try most of the expected changes. Simple length though? I think most people could guess that’s possible. Voicing? Yeah, sure. But the other changes…

Nah. There were some mistakes. For example instead of “Ich Kann” he said “Ich Känn” and he also made the wrong “Ch” sound on “Sprechen” He made the “Ch” sound for “Ach” “Uch” “Och” or “Auch” Plus his accent sounded a tad bit weird, had a slight French sound to it. I mean it sounds German but I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it. It sounds off. Like it kind of has an Eastern European sound a long with that French sound. Maybe even went a bit Indian at the end. Other then those two mistakes it was pretty much perfect.

I love that you give tons of props to Arabic. It's the language I fell in love with, so much so that I moved my family from Kentucky to Jordan in September to live here indefinitely and hopefully learn the language to full fluency. If you ever want to visit, Jordanians are a very generous people... you won't get robbed here, I promise. And you have a bed to sleep on if you want it. Also love your perspective on things, such as learning languages doesn't make you smart. I would agree with this. I do think if you have a natural talent for learning many languages, you are probably high up on the IQ charts though.
