I have one similar, works just fine. Maybe because I read the instructions and maybe because I understand the longer wand needed a washer. For the price and size it is excellent. This guy did NOT have an open mind and is not the sharpest knife in the drawer !!

Not sure what exactly you are doing wrong. I've had this exact machine for 3 months, my Bissell stopped working after 4 years. This unit has a more powerful steam spray than my Bissell, holds more water, and it has been great on everything I've used it on so far. Makes cleaning my oven, refrigerator, and bathroom fixtures a breeze. I saw other posts about cleaning windows and being careful but I've been using steam to clean my windows for years with no issues so far. I love that I do not have to buy multiple cleaners and can just use steam. When this unit needs to be replaced, hopefully in several years, I'll upgrade to an even larger capacity steam cleaner.

1: It didn't work because you didn't use the brush it came with , even then it's bad for the paint. 2: These are too small to be able to clean with blasts of steam because of the limited 110v outlet they are paired with . 3: Best case scenario 110v x 20 amps only makes 2200w which is really just over 1700w because of the 80% rule for electric circuits The larger units are 3000w and up running on 220v and above not 110v , the really good one's mainly use propane . This unit is good enough to clean surfaces and air handling units i would not use it for much else. The best use on a car is cleaning the windows LOL.

"The best use on a car is cleaning the windows LOL." I would not use on any windows home, car, or otherwise, as the risk of thermal shock, shattering/cracking the window, is too great o.O

@@cjjuszczak Only if your mentally retarded and or can't read instructions. One would have to crank the temp up ,use a short nozzle and hold it in place to even be able to cause any damage. I've cleaned house and car windows with one for over 20 years with zero issues. You can find KZread videos of thousands of people doing the same by searching.

@@wind5250 The temperature to steam clean, literally STEAM = 100C (212F), is not a temperature to ignorantly put onto glass windows the same way you would attack any other surface. So no, you don't need to "crank the temp up", you only need to literally use it at the product's intended steam temps to break windows without care.

  • @wind5250

@@cjjuszczak 1: The temp to produce steam is 212f degree's up controlled by a knob. High is 229f not 212f . If you bothered to look up the device it tells you. 2:The output temp is not the same temp the steam was created at due to multiple thermal loses . About half of it converts right back into water before leaving the tip. You can see this in the very video your ignorantly commenting to at 5:27 . 3: The release temp further reduces based on the distance from the tip as the steam mixes with the air. After about 3 to 5 inches you can hold your hand in it without being burned. 4: In other words just like i said you have to crank it up and place it on the glass to do anything. The sun can raise you glass temp to 200f by itself . Without ignorance or sheer stupidity this thing can't get close to that. 5: You avoided talking about the multitude of videos because you know your wrong. Just like the guy who made this video You do not know how to use the machine. Your comments would be valid on a high powered steam machine which this isn't .

@@wind5250 1) yes boiling temperature, i stated it, you want to argue what it is, or isn't, one of us looks dumb here. 2) some steam condenses into cooler water, some steam remains, what's your point again ? 3) If you hold the nozzle far enough away, you don't have hot enough water to scald you, nor hot enough to clean. Yes well done, that's how things work. What's your point again ? 4) The sun heating glass to an all-over EVEN high temperature, is completely the opposite to a small and localised hot-spot with steam. Try defrosting your windows with water from a boiled kettle in winter, have fun replacing those windows. Here you clearly have no clue what thermal shock is. We're done here, have a nice day :)

Yeah, i was interested in these things until testing this one out. I was going to go with either Wagner? Or mc... Something. They dont have a high wattage like this unit, but they seemed like they had been in that game making these things for a while, so i trusted those brands. But given how steam seems to perform, might pass. Glad we were able to test it out though. Always curious about these things. Maybe one day if i have money to burn I'll try a big brand and maybe the attachments will make the difference. Thanks.

I received one of these today. I just tested it out and it seemed to work just fine. It heated up very quickly and produced steam. I feel it is fine for a cheap, domestic, low use steam cleaner. I think that this video does not do the product justice! The guy is cleaning wheels but does not think to use the supplied brushes? It seems to work fine for me.

thank you for this info. hopeful others will see this as well. yeah, the steamer belongs to family here and we'll talk to them to find out how its going with the unit for their needs. the only issue we found for now is the smallish reservoir tank and the possibility of spilling liquid inside the unit. not sure if that would cause a big issue or if there are safeguards in place internally.

Thanks. And I was eyeing that thing debating on whether to give it a try. But something kept telling me nope, don't do it because you will be upset. So I didn't do it. 😄 1.its too small (why is mostly everything on Temu so darn small???! ) 2. That plastic hose that can burn your hands. 3. It didn't look powerful enough. And it's $39.00 now. Too much money to be wasted. Nah. 👎

Definitely. My Wife tested it out on the range hood filters, she said it takes a long time there as well. Maybe..if you really wanna try helping the environment (even though you'll be using electricity for days to clean something small). This just doesn't make sense. Kinda glad we didnt drop cash on this but maybe a better brand with better attachments?

I'd say.. Some people have had luck with it, I guess. Maybe it depends what you're using it for? But, just kitchen grease/oil on the range hood filters.. Took way too long. Maybe a different brand with a different attachment, but most other brands don't reach this wattage(if this one actually is 2500w)
