Shame!!!! Interesting how they take away credit from all the actual screen play writers. Nowadays the chances of taking credit is much less.

Juhi Chawla and Govinda's cameo was absolutely brilliant. I am surprised no one is discussing that.

This interview is the highlight of this year. Masand is not talking endlessly but facilitating Rajkumar Santoshi into telling all these amazing stories about this iconic film. Absolutely amazing!

The only Indian comedy movie i know that has no emotional scene whatsoever

You forgot Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.. Wasn't it released in 94..it was a phenomenon at that time...anadaz apna apna sadly was a flop..but now it has caught up with Hum Aapke Hain Kaun..

I don't think anyone can recreate the Andaz Apna Apna magic ever.

This is a legandary film. Once in a month I watch it and laugh. No better stress buster available in Indian cinema

I really appreciate the innocence played by karisma and Salman. Salman is the actual comedian in the movie. Goes without saying..the high energy jodi of bollywood. Miss Karisma so much

Rajeev's admiration for Raj Kumar Santoshi is visible here. Enjoyed this laid back discussion between these two.

they are not talking as professionals but as fans of a movie most loved the creator is also a fan of his own product without any arrogance of creating it . great point in which he asks salman and aamir of today to do more movies like these and get out of there serious image .

Watched Andaz Apna Apna AGAIN after watching this interview.. the film will NEVER GROW OLD.. an evergreen comedy.

The director is so wise"other films are remembered by their numbers but AAA is remembered for the film" , no better way to describe its success

i smiled like a child watching this interview and remembering the film. undoubtedly it is a cult and among the best comedies of bollywood. my fav scene is when salman is having loose motions and coming out of loo proposing raveena. i hv laughed and fell off of a bed and tears hv come out of my eyes while watching that scene. such films never get made again. it happens by chance once in lifetime.

Rajkumari Santoshi doesn't get the due he deserves. This guy also made The legend of Bhagat Singh ❤

Propose scene me Bhai ki comic timing is on another level.. Kya expression the 😄😄

A gem that wasn't talked about was the scene where Amar switches his beedi for the cigarette... It's such a blink and miss scene, but so brilliant...

I saw this movie with my dad on VHS when I was 12 and today saw the movie with my 10-year-old son on Netflix and had the exact same laugh riot.....this is not a movie its a time machine

I liked his point about how people these days think “yeh chalega so rakhna chahiye” .. it’s been ages since Bollywood has had a good out and out comedy movie

As I listen to Mr. Santoshi, my mind races back to 1994, watching it then in a small dingy hall (there were no multiplexes in those days, At that time I was in a north eastern city in India). Me and two of my school mates, we were in class eleven then, there were hardly 10 people in the cinema hall. To say we had a blast would be an UNDERSTATEMENT. It was one of the most entertaining evenings of my life.

During our four years of engineering this movie was d only relief. We watched many movies but after every this movie served as dessert.

My god Salman Khan looked very very handsome....

I still remember how people were shocked that Rajkumar Santoshi came up with this after Ghayal which was a straight opposite of Andaaz Apna Apna. Sunny deol had stunned everyone with his performance in Ghayal. It was surprising or rather shocking that Andaz Apna Apna was not a blockbuster hit at that time just like Ghayal . I think it was extremely brave of Rajkumar Santoshi to take up this straight after Ghayal and he should have been rated the best director at that time.

Todays kids and youngsters should watch and enjoy this movie... we won't find such a film again...

Rajkumar Santoshi has given us such brilliant diverse genres like Andaz apna apna, Khakee, Ghayal, Damini, Pukar,Legend of Bhagat Singh,Ghatak,China Gate,Lajja, Ajab Prem ki Ghazab kahani, and still we don't hail him as one of our finest director ever??? What a pity,and he has done it over so many years starting in 1989,just shows the level of skill and ability to reinvent the man possesses!!! One of greatest director of all time! Should be given more applause than what we give to Yash Chopra!

One of the best interviews by Rajeev ever. You can clearly see the absolute fan boy in him. Really wish Raj ji made a sequel.

Aap purush hi nahi mahapurush hai! Lagta hai kaccha khiladi hai! Firoti ke paise hai ke maiyyat ka chanda! 5 second me ye, bara second me wo, sala HMT! Amar prem, pavitrya aur bhakti ras se bharpur! Naam sunte hi mujhe andaza ho gaya tha, ki tum awaaara aur filmi kisam ke ladke ho! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Sooo many more evergreen dialogues! Best comedy ever!

And Danny is also of Nepali descent that's how the word came "Batla Danny" 😅😅😅😅 This is the intelligence behind this great film that even one small word has so much depth in it....Hats off to Mr. Santoshi for making this cult.... 👏👏👌👌

tHIS MOVIE WAS MADE AHEAD OF ITS TIME.

Rajkumar santoshi narrating the dialogues with such enthusiasm and joy is such a great sight. Its proof that he wrote these dialogues and scenes with love and dedication to the genre that he was working on. Truly one of the greatest comedy films of all time.

In 2 stars ko us waqat be lay kar koi nahi movie bana saka or na he aaj ke door main koi bana skta hai but this man done it👈

How genuinely has he spoken.. Innocence is important! Not even one vulgur joke in a 3 hour movie, more than a dozen talented actors, and the relevance that this movie has in our lives till today ❤️ I've literally lived on this movie! There never has been and never will be another Andaaz Apna Apna!

After watching the interview it looks like watching AAA again. In every decade there was some movies which became Classic like in 70's Chupke Chupke & Golmaal, in 80's Angoor & Chashme Baddoor & in 90's its one & only Andaz Apna Apna. I had matches it countless of times but still it feel like Fresh. Raj ji was right comedy require Innocence then only it touches the audience's heart... I personally used some dialogues from AAA like aaila & aap purush nahin mahapurush hain in my work life just for the humour & nobody feel offended about it thats the hall mark of neat & clean comedy which you can use in day today life. Whenever I feel tired I watched comedy movies & AAA is one of those rare movies which gives me relief from my tiredness... Thanks a lot to team AAA for this wonderful & memorable movie which I can watch with my whole family👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
