Thanks for your motivation! Yes I plan to introduce radicals / graphical characters this way. The next episode is another radical. For me, characters are full of life and stories, I love them and I love to present them in an interesting way to help people learn. All the best!

Thanks for your feedback! That's a good idea! I could think about making one summary somewhen after introducing individual radicals. My impression is that the radical wasn't well aware of, so I just started to explain them.

@@ChinesewithJiayi I was more interested in the material the commenter was learning from and how these videos seem to be more advanced than their material , but perhaps it is because I've learnt mainly to read and write in Chinese characters that they seem more familiar .

@@ChinesewithJiayi I found when I started learning Chinese language that at first it seemed impossible but I copied the characters from a book even though I knew nothing about the language , I guess it is because my first interest as a child was art drawing and later painting . Then I went on to buy the books that I mentioned to you before and dictionaries and a book about Chinese radicals and the tapes that went with the series . I would guess that there are other texts on learning the language which are available as well as these on line lessons such as you give . Strangely the ideas of modern mathematics and group theory with the radicals as a set and the individual words as being members of that set , like a Venn diagram helped me to get an idea of how the dictionary is used without an alphabetical system at work . Sorry I'm rambling again . In conclusion I was wondering at what stage the commenter was at and what resources they have available .
