I don't need an excuse to watch Pulp Fiction, I can never get tired of it. Every time I watch it, it seems like I discover something new that I hadn't noticed before. I like how Tarantino put things in the movie that were clearly only meant to be discovered upon reviewing. Clever tactic, if I may say so myself.
Personally, I think Pulp Fiction is one of the greatest films of the 20th century.
another reason Tarantino played Jimmy was that Steve Buscemi was originally going to play the role, but he was unavailable. Instead, Buscemi had a cameo at Jack Rabbit Slim's.

@Alex Jones I think you misunderstood. Pulp fiction is one of my favs, I own pretty much his entire library. Yes computers and internet existed in 1994 (unlike the narrator I was alive back then), but to be fair they weren’t nearly as prevalent as they are today. The vast majority of people in 1994 lived their lives without the internet and with limited if any interaction with a computer. Especially a personal one. Kind of how like electric cars exist today, and they will probably be ubiquitous in 30 years but as for right now only a small handful of people own them.
