    They didn't show the thumbnail, but I've been doing that for years. Floors too staticky in the winter to sweep effectively before mopping? Broom mop. Back hurts leaning across the tub to clean the wall tiles? Broom mop. Can't reach the top of those tiles? Broom mop. Need to rinse all that without a lake on the floor/water running down your elbows into your armpits? Broom mop! Pissy roommate? BROOM MOP!! And then your broom is nice and clean after, too, which is nice.

    You can try a generous amount of dishwashing liquid (1/2 bottle) maybe more. Pour it in the toilet bowl & allow the liquid to slowly work itself around & past the blockage. The liquid causes movement in blockage freeing it up. Might happen right away or can take up to 20min

  • @jb6712

    @jb6712

    Sorry about this being two years after your comment, but I just watched the video tonight (and found it incredibly boring, but I learned all these techniques decades ago as a young housewife), and just wanted to mention that the reason for them using Coke, at least, is partly because of the lye used in making the garbage. Police officers often carry a 2 liter bottle of it (any cola, not just Coke) in their patrol cars because the stuff cleans blood off most surfaces, including road surfaces, etc. It's tough on many kinds of dirt, and it's really rough on the human body.

    You can also go to a dollar store but 2 poles, 2 velcro pad holder's and 6 microfiber pads. Use hot water and dawn to scrub shower, fiberglass, glass, vinyl and tile floor's walls, ceiling's, etc. Then one with just warm water to remove any of the dirty soapy water/residue from them, the last pad is to dry it all off. This will also hasten the rate of time you clean at as well.

    You're wrong. I learned the majority of these when I was a kid, more than 60 years ago, and I still use them to this day. Our mothers back then didn't use such things as commercially made cleaners, and used what they had on hand, and what was naturally available, and because I have severe chemical allergies, I also use the natural forms of cleaners. I normally hate this channel as it lies and exaggerates everything, but this time, most of it is correct.

    Instead of using a dust pan, slightly dampen a piece of newspaper and lay it on the floor. Then cautiously sweep the dust onto it, pick up and throw away.

    Great hacks🤓 well I dont know what wd-40 is but sticker glue left on glass you can easily remove with a mix of olive oil & bakin soda. Teaspoon peanutbutter. Rapeseed oil or any essential oil. Oil you cant use on metal & untreated wood. Its great on porcelain, glass and tiles. Or remove with lemonjuice or an orange peel. Always clean after with warm water and soap 😉
