I remember buying an entire 16x70 mobile home brand new for this price. I don’t know how people can even dream of owning a home these days. Breaks my heart.

My first new mobile home was a 1976 Marshfield 14x70 which was $10,000 delivered and setup. My last mobile home was a 2000 Mashfield 16x72 at $40,000. 2x6 walls, artic insulated. Now they want over $100k. It's crazy, I had a stick built custom home built for $89k back in 1989, and it's worth well over $400k today.

I much prefer the new panel with its outside look of long vertical lines and no fasteners and its inside textured panel look. Good choice.

I agree. I love the texture on the interior and hope they will keep it. IMO, these new panels make the interior look larger and less cluttered because your eyes are not diverted by all the seams and screws. I think this will be a big seller for ITH.

You've got a winner with those new panels on so many levels. $5k bump up in price is a bargain!

I love the new metal panels, the houses look even better. If I was buying another home I would definitely go with this one. Keeping up with new ideas can only make ITH more successful. Thanks Randy and Amanda.

A person with an old incredibox could add a new panel Add-a-Box to their front door for a new Living/Dining Room with an elevator bed so it's the Master at night, and modernize the curb appeal of their original home.

Those new panels are awesome! Staying with one colour is definitely the way to go. People can still paint, stucco whatever they want to do.

And it's worth noting that there are stucco-like materials that are actually a rubberized material. So, it looks like stucco, but it won't fall off traveling down the road.

I would love to see a 10 x 25 foot incredibox with an egress window in the loft. Love the new panels!

That looks so much nicer than the original older panels. I think you will sell alot more homes now. I honestly did not like the way the old one looked but I like this one and it will save the homeowner money trying to put some kind of siding over the old panels. I think this was a smart move for your company. Edit: fun idea...with metal, you could do decals or a house wrap like they do on vehicles even. I think this is so cool!

Yes, or a great canvas for a talented painter to express themselves or blend into their environment. I saw a home built with mirrors on the outside, glass inside, and it reflected all the trees around it. There is reflective paint available (not cheap either). The possibilities are limitless with the new panels.

Randy, I have purchased two Incred-I-Boxes from your fine company and I like the new panels better than the old panels. In addition, I pay the extra $5,000 for having the smooth walls and a thicker wall frame. Congratulations and move forward accordingly.

Love the new panels. Sure they are going to be well worth the extra 5000$.

I love the new panels. They look very smooth and very stylish. I love the idea of filling in the seems inside for an even smoother finish. The inside looks great. $30K is still the best deal out here on the market. Keep rocking it out Randy because you truly are "incredible"!

While I also love the idea of the remnant panels, I want a really clean, modern look and these new panels fit that so much better. This looks really great. I'm looking forward to how you work out the trim, etc. These can still be purchased without the living area loft, correct?

I like the new panels so you don't have to stucco the outside and inside to hide all the seams like in the old ones. With the thicker panels, you'll lose an inch of internal space from each wall. In a tiny, every inch counts but worth it with the additional insulation values. (Glad you may keep both versions, for the folks that really can't stretch for the extra $5K or for the folks that want the original which has gone thru the intense "in the field" testing.)

I would put the flip table on the other side, in the front of the drawers, making a shape L counter when is open, the flipping position of the " table " adding counter space would fold on top of the counter ( so won't take any space when is closed ), so I could put a refrigerator beside the counter.

This looks great! If I bought one, I’d put the kitchen down on the opposite end so it’s far away from the bathroom.

Great improvement for those of us who aren't so into DIY. I'm still going to wait and see what the Cottage I-box looks like before I take the leap. I want a window in the upper loft so it can be used to sleep in. When I get too old, I'll transition downstairs. It's just me and my cat so there's plenty of room. I'm not going to worry about a W&D. I can head to town and do it. Come hell or high water I want to be in a TH within 3-4 years. I can't stay where I'm at because my county doesn't allow TH on wheels, so I'll have to relocate but I am SO over feeling like I'm in a rent trap due to not being able to afford to buy where I live. I'm going to look for property hopefully too, but otherwise I'll find a place to rent a spot. I CANNOT WAIT!

Love the creativeness to adapt with new panels. Nice to not needing to paint. White simplify. Yes to decorate myself fits perfectly. Thank you Randy and Amanda

I’m wondering, if I were to order a 20 ft Incredibox and a 20 for Addabox at the same time, could I get the bathroom installed in the Addabox instead of the Incredibox. Then in the Ibox there could be more room for refrigerator, washer dryer, pantry. What do you think? I have no problem with the door panel construction and would prefer it, but would accept the new panels.

The new panels will be perfect for people living in extreme temperatures - very cold, increased snowload, as well as very dry, hot climates, and anyplace with a lot of wind. They'll also be a fan favorite of people who crave a modern design.

I thought it's inevitable that available remnants would be limited. You are on the right track. You need to offer both options because remnants depend on THEIR economy. As remnant use get more popular, they will be harder to acquire. The new panels will cost more, but balance out somewhat since they come ready to use & allow more efficient use of labor. They will also make more people accept the appearance. For those that want a more finished look, they can have it with the modest extra upcharge. If they want color choice, the white or grey makes a good prime color to paint with automotive spray paint.

Same here. I like the new panels, but the original repurposed steel ones have so much character. They’re one of a kind, no 2 are alike, and they’re environmental friendly. I’m so happy for you ! Best wishes to you in your new home !

Those panels in that color are great.

COLOR: CREAM, OFF WHITE I think that pure White is a harsh color. I would suggest using an off-white. So many interiors (sticks and bricks) use that color. It's softer than white and feels more livable. I feel the same way about the exterior. A pure white home somehow looks cheaper than off white (unless the trim is deep black). IMHO Even travel trailers have shifted to "sand/warm grey" colors and look so much better.

I like the new panels BUT using the door remnants speaks to my UPCYCLE soul. I totally understand the issue of supply demand.

Only extra 5k? and they're an extra inch thick?? Count me in! Much stronger and looks nicer will be warmer and cooler? That sounds great!

The new panels give the house a more clean modern look. All it needs is paint. Awesome upgrade.

I've been thinking about building my tiny house with those panels, they are expensive but they are literally indestructible, those are pretty much the same panels they use for the supermarkets and liquor stores walk-in coolers expensive but last almost forever! Good choice Randy!

I love the look of the new panels. I would not have a problem with painting myself or hiring someone to paint the outside and or inside. My question is that as it is almost 3" thick, would you consider having the house 8.5 feet wide, vs 8 feet wide? So that you don't lose some width in the interior? Also, how wide is that door? is it 30 or 36" wide? A bay window would be nice on that house, and I was thinking some storage under the bay window would be great too. I will reiterate, I love the look with the new panels, they make the walls more uniform. One can always paint them a different color, as well as the door, and put shutters on it. On the original panels, I would either stucco it or put LP siding on it. It is a good idea to have a different source of building materials as well.

Really like the new panels - alot actually! No screws - super! Smooth straight seams - very nice! The ability to leave the interior panels smooth - it comes this way originally - so all the peel and stick wallpapers, veener wood and brick looks, and even the peel and stick tin and decorative tile sheets can be placed on the panels and then pulled off easily at any time for an updated look! Also, wondering if magnets will stick to the new panels? Randy, making one with the bay window along with 2 transom windows instead - on the side walls - that roll out would be so cool! The placement of the transom windows being head height up from the floor would be nice to have so if someone wanted to leave the window covers open they could walk around in just a tee or pj's. Also, a solid front door with a small transom at the top, and or, a peep hole.

Randy - Amanda, I know that both of you are partial to the original panels but from a business perspective…you’ve got to let them go. The benefits of the new panels are far more valuable than the price increase. The clean new aesthetic alone is worth the price increase. $5,000 will be a deal breaker for a few, yes. But as a company, sustainability is priority one. Running two assembly lines cuts profits for both of the lines when averaged and could very well be business suicide. You should value your company more than that. There is a HUGE demographic that want to go tiny and want affordability but still greatly value aesthetics. The $5,000 increase packs a big punch bringing in a whole new demographic while still catering to those who need affordability. Randy, this home is still affordable. Stop beating yourself up and making bad business decisions because you are afraid it’s not. There will always be people who can’t afford it, no matter how cheap and ugly it is. You can’t save the world. Save who you can and your company at the same time.

I agree the new panels are beautiful, but some may want the "tested version" of the Incred-i-box that has been around for years. Randy should make both versions until the new panels are "tried and true" for a couple years. (It's like when Coca Cola brought the new and improved "New Coke" out and the sales fizzled and they had to resort back to the original.)

@@CapysGardenShop Phased out? Most likely, but putting "all his eggs in one basket " now? No, he is a smart guy and will keep his options open. He'll have to wait to see how the demand of each model sells. (Some may like the "recycle" aspect of the old model being more green as well as it being tested driving across country on bad roads with no ill effects....the new one may do that too, but it's not tested yet.)

The new panels look so good and clean. I’d love to own one someday. I really would love to see both you and Amanda in the video and someone else doing the filming! She needs to be seen as well 😊
