This hack works!!!! I recommend to use 2 air wedges, use a steel rod, bent with a hook, and use your cell phone to take a pic to see the cord. Took us 20 minutes. But, we're in, saved us hundreds.

I'm wondering if this technique was used to break into my garage. Need to go check if the wire was left. The police were stumped, no sign of break in.

Crooks dont need videos they get all the info on the streets. Plus when mine was broke into they actually drilled a hole in the middle of my garage door then used the pull cord to open my garage door and break into my home.

The crooks are happy you posted this. That's why I like detached garages.

That sucks that they never answered you. What did you end up doing? I’m going to try this and hopefully my cord doesn’t snap like yours did. I put down my remote somewhere and can’t find it. Wish me luck.
